One of the Cleveland defenders (you said no names /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />) just got frusterated by one of our [Ooltewah's] smaller forward's scrappy play. Could've been avoided but no big deal. Msg me if you want more info.

Ah, that always stinks to have cancellations. Good luck though, looking forward to the 12th (March).

I was a part of the 91 Cleveland futbop club flames that won state this year. the vast majority of the team is cleveland's varsity

Stephen Stansell: Definitely. Didn't see him at our (Ooltewah's) playday though. All I have to say is that during club, I was glad to be playing with him instead of against him. Max Crabtree and Jake Wheeler: I agree with Max. He has always been a top notch player and has really overcome and critics on his size with his speed and athletic ability. Jake, not so much. I have played with and against Jake and never really qualified him as "Top of the Class". Other people may disagree though. I think that Lebron Lackey, Vance Griffith, and Chris Schroll deserve a mention. [if Adam Martin is a senior, I'd put him in there too.]

I got to ref and be reffed by Hiko and always joked around with him on the field when the latter occurred. Great guy and a great referee. He will be missed.

Ooltewah played Cleveland as the last game of the day.. We did well to counter their 3 center mids (3-5-2) with our 2 (4-4-2) and only lost the stalement 1-0 when a defensive miscommunication off a long ball to their quick forward (Schroll, I believe). I'm looking forward to playing them in the season to see what a fresh 90 minutes brings out.

Not to mention that Ooltewah lost a total of 12 seniors, including the starting keeper.
