no, i'm sorry but i do not believe this at all. i have played against him and have seen him pitch a few times. he is a great pitcher, but throws maybe low 80's. i have batted against him and unless he has gained unbelievable speed in one year, this is not true. summertown is looking to be tough and they play cascade to open there season up so we'll see owns up to all the hype.... hahahhahaha "Maybe low 80's" hahahahaha. You can't be serious. hahahahahahaha i agree he's a very good pitcher but does not throw upper 80's. you must have looked at the gun wrong. i've hit against and am now playing college baseball. i look at upper 80's every day and he is not close to upper 80's, sorry to burst your bubble if you were batting against him you couldn't see the radar gun. Right? he may not have seen the radar gun that at bat, but im sure he seen the dog pile and heard We Are The Champions after that game... just sayin the kids talented but come on now... 89? no way

ok, spring hill has a pretty good team this year but do you really consider loretto, mt pleasant and perry county as awesome baseball schools? i mean they're decent but nothing like tullahoma, franklin, coffee co. or white co.

weak district? possibly...i dont think so but you are right about summertown losing 2 games and ca hasnt lost any but ca doesnt play any good AAA teams like summertown does. i understand u beat lawrenceburg in a scrimmage but the key word there is "scrimmage" summertown may have lost 2 games to AAA teams but they have also beat 2 good AAA teams if ca would scheadule anybody then this would be a different story, but they haven't played any real good teams this year... however, it looks like they will play a REAL good team april 17

haven't been to many games this year but i dont see how you could say richland or ca could be the top in the region... summertown has lost two games but they were by 1 run and 2runs and from what i hear they were in the game and had a good chance of winning both of them ca has put up pretty good offensive numbers but summertown put up 22 against the 2nd best team in district 12! just from looking at the teams summertown beat in the tullahoma invitational, i believe summertown has got to be the early favorite to win the region... i guess we will se in a couple of weeks when they play columbia academy

keating pitched decent at mt pleasant, but if mt pleasant doesn't make so many errors, i think the tigers win that ballgame... but if keating pitches like he did at mt pleasant and their bats heat up, wayne county may possibly be the contender for 2nd place

yeah hughes quit. that will hurt them, they will have no pitching now and i really dont see how they will score runs their only rbi man for the past 3 years graduated maybe mt pleasant has some talent i dont know about, but i dont see where they will be in the running at all for 2nd in the district

too bad hughes for mt pleasant quit already holcomb is not that good neither, i look for mt pleasant baseball to drop tremendously

T. Rice is a long way from being the best in d12...he is an awesome football player but he cant play basketball with thompson, west, long, or harville maybe his senior year, he will be the best in d12, but right now he's nowhere near the best
