Maybe it's my already documented ignorance or maybe it's my childish stupidity, but didn't you just say that all the opinions on this thread were "stupid", "irrelevant", "ludicrous", and the debating was "pathetic" etc., then just throw in your own opinion on this thread? I am assuming none of the posters who claimed that Clarkrange would dominate AAA are members of the Clarkrange team. If that's true, then nobody is preventing the "girls [from] enjoying what they've accomplished." From what I can tell, these are all adults (I know you disagree) who are debating a point that can't ever be proved one way or another. But, heck, isn't that what half of sports is about? (Ever listen to Mike & Mike) That's especially true from the fan's perspective. All fan's can do is argue for their team or cheer for their team. That's it. They can't decide it on the court. Besides I don't have a problem with the Clarkrange team. The problem is with the claim of AAA dominance. Sorry, I just don't agree and I don't think any of those who make that claim have backed it up well enough but I do respect that they defend their beliefs and are loyal fans. You make a great point though. Clarkrange HAS accomplished a lot. They SHOULD be remembered as a VERY SPECIAL team. Any team that goes 39-0 and wins the Gold Ball is special regardless of A, AA, or AAA. So 1) why does anyone even bother to claim anything beyond that and 2) once they make a claim like that, why take it as a personal insult to the team if somebody has an opposing opinion, defends that opinion and asks for proof to back up the opposing claim. Congrats to the Clarkrange team and its fans for a very special season.

Now you and jimbo44 know better than that. You can not tell me that you believe that summer ball is played the same way as regular season or post season varsity basketball. The referees don't even ref it the same way. Unless I did not understand right, people were saying that Clarkrange could compete during non-summer ball where basically only the top 7 girls play unless there is a big lead and the coach is not experimenting with lineups and plays and defenses. I don't know about the summer games you watch but the ones I've seen are not anything like regular or post season games. A lot of times you don't even have all your players available. Now if they want to claim that they dominate camp ball. OK. Fine. I can believe that. They are good enough to dominate camp ball. In Class A. Congrats to them for being Class A champs and dominating Class A. One more thing. Cumberland was 11-10 against AAA teams. That puts them just above .500.

Exactly which AAA teams did they play. Clarkrange fans are definitely sure of themselves but not very interested in detail.

I hope the Clarkrange coach has as much faith as you do and schedules a bunch of AAA teams for next year. Then we can see for sure. Wonder why he didn't do that this year. Oh well, we'll never know. By the way, how about picking any AAA district in the state and tell me how you think Clarkrange would a done.

Great. Because coach t has got only one Clarkrange girl going to play college and that would be D2. When you get the other names and colleges be sure to let coach t know. Seems like coach t is not as sure as those older fans college coach.

You Clarkrange people sure are great fans, but I got some serious doubts about any Class A team being the best team in the state over AA and AAA. I saw them play this season and they are good. But I would say they would be around a .500 club at AAA... and that's a compliment! Just curious, but how many of the Clarkrange girls are going to play at the next level and if they got anybody, then at what level? And what AAU teams do they play for?
