does anybody know how the district play went i know houston county beat merrol hyde 66-44

dont count out any of the other teams like nashville christian or houston county i wanna see how roper plays against smith tuesday at hc

well i guess it didnt bother him too bad he had 23 according to the box scores in the chronicle against montgomery central, and 15 points and 18 rebounds against cheatham county last night..featherstone is looking very well with his driving and scoring and drawing the fouls and monroes passing looks outstanding..and there point guard is quick as lighting!! Kelchner i believe anybody no what grade he is in?

WHH will return 4 out of 5 starters, with both big boys (4 and 5 spots) only being Sophs this year. They are just now learning how to use their size. CA will still be the favorites next season mainly due to the Smiths, but WHH should be up there close as well. I see HC and NCS possibly making some noise next year too. hc played great "team ball" last night the actually broke a press!!! i am happy for them they needed that win that knock WHH down to 3nd and McEwen to 2nd, skelton roper and hammond hit the boards hard last night with some good offensive rebounds and 2nd chance shots, featherstone and monroe sat most of the game due to foul trouble but played extremely well when played, to me it seemed they couldnt stop monroe from driving and scoring, ref's?? horrible on both ends, so now i guess u can say its anybodys chance in the tournament goodluck to all teams HC loses Skelton and Barnes, which will be tough, but with whats returning, as you said " they may be making some noise " They have some younger boys who can step up on varsity next year too.

i dont think ca will beat hc by 29, since the loss of cooksey the team is playing better "team" ball the play better as a team now, anyone who watches them can tell u, i say monroe skelton and roper step up big against the twins, and the guards have to HELP featherstone get it up the floor cause russell will eat featherstone alive with out any help. but i say ca by 10

bottom line is that the refs are going to protect the twins at anyway possible, and the two teams will meet again and hc will no how they will have to play to win. so i guess the football coach will be attending basketball practice from now tell then so hc will be ready.

i agree hc will not hand the game away, but there are going to have to step up bc last year they had a big factor with Dillard, and Skelton is going to have to play like he has been playing all year which is awesome compared to last year, and Cooksey is going to have to STAY OUT OF FOUL TROUBLE! and Monroe and Roper are going to have to rebound and make shots under the basket and hit their free throws. Barnes is going to have to stay on dyer and not let him shoot which i wouldn't worry Barnes is the best defensive player around. and Cooksey is going to have to stay with Travis Russell who's is just as quick and that's saying something. it should be a good game i wouldn't miss it.

i dont know what hc's got...but ca is pretty darn good! i was impressed. it should be an interesting game

tuesday HC vs CA at HC same setting as last years district chmpion ship game who do u think will come on top? i say hc by 4

houston count beats east robertson 88-86, the whole game was close at the end of he first quarter hc was down 17 and cuts it down 47-43 at the half, cooksey had 4 fouls at half time and sat most of second half but played hard while he was in, barnes stepped up big a the point, roper stepped up big and dropped 24, and sketon played hard and scored over 30, monroe played threw his ankle pain and hit all of his free throws, woodard had a chance to tie it up at the line with 7 seconds left and missed both free throws, hc played tight d on woodard but that made other players open. the officals were horrible and called way to many fouls, congrats to hc for pulling it out and havin there first district win on the year

so whats te story about Roper not getting to play, Hammond did not look good at all at camp i mean a good player but had an off camp played defense really well but wasnt clicking to him on offense same for barnes, Skelton did do well at camp along wih Monroe..Weatherspoon will do good in the future if he gets meat on his bones and learn how to walk without tripping over his feet.

i agree with you scott moore is the best coach i have ever played for and will be regardless, and mrs jolly is bringing in everyone she worked with from clarksville before you know it the whole system will be from northwest, and then she might start bringing in the students from there i mean y not? she is bringing in everyone else from their.

trotter didnt even apply for the job the top two people for the job is moore and cox ms jolly (the pricipal the one in charge over the position) told me herself

the bottom line is that the team wants moore and we are going to do everything in our power to get him..we all respect him he doesnt play favorites he doesnt care what your last name is or who your parents, grandparents,aunts uncles cousin nephews are etc. he plays his best player i have seen myself him yell and sit his kids the whole game cause they werent playing well..he puts the fire under our butts that we need if the comunity board of ed and staff want us to go far the next two years they need to hire scott moore..i mean we will play hard for any coach but it will be just a different ball game with coach scott

this isnt the boys first time being accused of the same hing he got into trouble for how many chances are u suppose to give people now days if he does it once gets away with and twice and gets away with it he is just going to do it again because he knows the outcome.(even no he is one of my close friends and i did want him back on the team i was just saying we need a coach that sticks behind the rules)

Houston County should take this district this season they didn't lose any starters and have a solid starting team with a couple of stand out talents in their short stop and centerfielder, and will have some depth on the bench to, they had to play Forrest last season in the Region first game and held with them 1-1 then had a bad inning and gave it up. McEwen should have a really strong team as well, East Robertson lost at lot of players but they do have a really good coach and I'm sure they will be a contender. Nashville Christian, White House don't know enough on them to comment for this season last seaon I saw them a couple times they were o.k., I haven't heard of this pitcher from Jo Byrns, CA will not have a good year again but they do have a REALLY NICE new sports facility.

i agree with you 100 percent on everything,i was reading a couple of your post from basketball4me to you and i am pretty sure i no who you are..i had talked to coach bagget earlier this season and he told me that he wanted to retire from the school teaching, but still coach and he said he would see how it would work out.
