I think Linder is the only ODP actual player on that list... like Dins list... to be considered you should have helped carry your team to the final... agree that Farragut, Brentwood (no matter what their attitudes...) and Hendersonville deserve majority of votes for getting their teams where they needed to be.

1. Farragut... not losing many players and obviously extremely strong this year waiting to see who wins state title today! Very well coached. 2. Brentwood... did amazing job coming on strong this year to be in state title match. handly beat ravenwood twice and others on young team... look for them to be strong next year. Also well coached 3. Hendersonville ... another team that came on strong and did well into the later part of the season 4. Franklin... senior class will try to pull it together for a stronger season possibly 5. Ravenwood... losing two? top scorers this year to graduation... middle could not stop brentwood when it counted this year... don't look for them to be as strong as they think... these are all fun to just "suppose"... can't take it all too seriously as early predictions for THIS year did not come out to be accurate at all... just have fun folks.

Did JPII already play MUS today at 11:00... that was original schedule... anyone have OUTCOME of that AND the BGA vs. Christian Bros?? Or do they play Saturday? THANKS!

Thanks Tyson! GOtta give a hand to Brentwood who many did not count in this year due to the huge number of great players they lost to graduation last season. Started out slow but apparently finishing very strong! Congratulations Brentwood on another district Title!

WOW... did I see where Brentwood shutout Ravenwood 2 - 0 tonight for District Title??? Anyone have any details??

So Ravenwood and Brentwood won tonight... can anyone please map out what is next for these teams and who plays who?

I would guess that Centennial and Franklin still remain 3 & 4 due to tie... not another loss. SO... Ravenwood goes to 5-1-1 (after tonight...) Brentwood goes to 5-1-1 (after friday I am sure..) Centennial goes to 4 - 1-2 after tie with Franklin... Franklin goes to 4 -2 - 1 after tie with Centennial... Overton, Indy, Hillsboro and Hillwood all OUT. Does anyone know if this is what happens?

Reports from the Ravenwood Loss to Centennial? Hear that Centennial shut down the kid who makes is it happen at ravenwood...Linder?...that was the difference. Great win for Centennial.

I think that people just don't take the Fire as anything to worry about since those aregames that do not count... good practice for teams in between district games. You can take out key players and let them rest (like JP II had key defenders out) and unfortunately I just don't think teams care about a game vs. the homeschooled kids. I am sure they are a good team but as we saw they played probably their first really good opponent in Ravenwood and lost on a Ravenwood bad night so... just don't think people care that much. Sorry... but you don't hear kids talking about the fire like they do games they play against their key rivalries.

Yes..have heard that this year ravenwood has two awesome sophomores who coach is finally let play and they are regional ODP players...Linder is one of them and everyone knows ... it is the name you hear everywhere as the difference maker so look forward to seeing him play. Brentwood lost too many players but for them to be doing as well as they are is amazing and a testament to the Brentwood coach. They look to be building this year but will be strong next year. McGuinnes seems to be the one you see in the papers so he seems to be strong up front. Surprised Ravenwood only won by 1. Brentwood must have given all they had.

One would think if he was that great a goalie ...and If he was being recruited for college, he would be kept in the goalie position! This is just high school soccer so the coach would almost be doing matt a disservice by putting him on the field. Hands down, hard for anyone to match Ryan Bristol in pure goalie talent and athletic ability in the net. He is amazing and he is the one the players talk about all of the time.

I think Indy had two Jr.s who were on the team last year not return this year?
