Well Caro is out for the season and pleasant is doubtful. But BGA struggles in the second half because of lack of depth. They just dont have numbers like any of the other private schools. 85% of the offense starts on defense. With that being said it is kinda hard chasing around people in this division and going both ways. The game should be a battle and may the best team win

just throwing some names out and please add to the list these are the only names that come to my mind
Emmanuel Andres(Shellbyville)
Mark Gooch (Siegal)
Artur McMillian (Hillisboro)
DeMarco Starlling (Hunters Lane) *** if stays healthy
can you help me add to the list
1. You lose all credit by mentioning Marc Gooch and not Kerry Hammonds.
2.) Its SIEGEL, seriously folks, its not that hard to spell, but it has to easily be the one school that pretty much everyone mispells.
im sorry for mispelling SIEGEL and i was just naming a few and i went to 2 SIEGEL games and Hammonds didnt show up an either 1 but i have seen Joe Jackson play and he is the real deal

ok who cares about BA and their championships they have only won a recent state championship in baseball and have been runner up for the last 3 years in a row. BA has great talent in the school but never show up in the big games. BA will be the sleeper in this division in my opinion along with BGA. Alot of BGA's talent is covered up by coaching he tends to play upper classmen and not play his young talent. Last year's team would have been better if you couldnt predict who would shoot the ball for BGA everytime it was either 22 or 10 and maybe the mayo kid. Now that those three are gone BGA is alot better and unselfish and competitive team this year.

Baylor rolled over FRA and Tyner (I would expect any of the DIIAA teams to have an easy time with FRA but how good is Tyner?). BGA opened with the team that was the state runner up in 6-A. BGA led 10-0 at half and really should have won the game. Marshall County is a 4A team and made the playoffs last year going 8-3. BGA could have won by more than 29-3 but only passed one time in the second half. I guess my point is both teams have looked good in their first two games.
Is the QB at Baylor the UTC coach's son? How has he looked? The sophomore QB who started for Baylor last year was at BGA for the Football University camp. The report was he has strong fundamentals and just lacks size. I guess he was beaten out for the starting job by the new kid.
BGA starts a sophomore at QB and he has shown a lot of poise. He is 6'3" and 190 lbs so has good size and runs with power. BGA is young at other positions as well and starts 5 freshmen and sophs on defense and 4 on offense including the QB. The team fields only 10 seniors and 10 juniors. BGA is smaller than the other schools in DIIAA and elects to play up so does not have the depth of the larger schools like Baylor. BGA will be very good in two years but I just don't know if they have the stamina to play with Baylor for four quarters.
Looking forward to seeing the Baylor campus...I hear it is beautiful.
Im still holding out judgement on the FHS game because I dont think that was a "classic" Franklin team, but regardless...
I don't think anyone outside of the BGA locker room gave them much of a chance against Baylor the past few years so it should always be a good game. I think if Williams is healthy Baylor has a noticeable edge. Though the biggest factor iin this game is Baylor's line. BGA stopped the FHS duo in part because of a solid scheme, but also Franklin's offensive line was considerably smaller than the DII norm. If Baylor is as good as the first two games indicate, I can see Baylor winning by at least 14. But BGA could easily pull this out. Good luck guys.
Oh, and Baylor's place is the BEST in the state. No questions. Hands down.
Baylor (without Williams) ???
BGA ???
toss up, as close as the past two years
Baylor (with Williams) 28
BGA 17
AP. if im not mistaken your are former BGA player you sure do down your team alot if the Franklin team wasnt such a "classic" franklin team why did they run the ball over 40 times...... i mean last years BGA team would have lost also because of the Ramsey kid choking in every game that had to deal with a team ranked top 10 in the state.... but back on topic it will be a classic baylor vs. bga game like the last 2 years its going down to the wire and may the best team wins

i have seen blackman scrimmage and they are decent they have pretty good athletes in #7 and #2 the scrimmage was a tie but BGA had several drives were they drove down and had their young QB make mistakes. its to early to tell if blackman is powerhouse they have only played tullhoma and Lincoln co. and everyone knows these teams are not good. its going to be a good game i think bryson has a break out game and smyrna wins 17-13
-
i have seen Franklin play BGA that was a great game by the way but Franklin just has to much firepower in the backfield lee and ford are enough for teams but when u throw in the sophomore running Sean dye who lead them in rushing the BGA game. There backfield will be too much for centennial to even handle and Franklins defense swarms to ball i think the score will be 35-14
-
What is the outcome of this game and i know BGA has a talented team after loosing a heart breaker to Franklin. Don't know much about Marshall Co.
-
this game will be a COMPLETE blowout the 97 firebirds were amazing beard went off to play at Alabama and Henderson is playing on Sundays, this year firebirds are awful they might have won at least 3 to 4 games at most and im giving them these gaes to be nice . MBA is a solid team have at least 3 to 4 possible 2 to 3 stars on rival i say final score will be MBA 49-PCHS-6
so i was a touchdown for each team wrong on my prediction the final score was 41-14

I guess you will need to help me out with the "realfacts". I agree that England is a great pitcher.
BGA has 4 losses in the region and BA has 1 and there are 3 games left next week for both teams. How can Friday night be for the "district"?
Explain how it appears to you to be like a good "boxing match" on Friday, when BA has won decisively on every Friday so far this year and BGA has gotten destroyed every Friday?? It is as if the BGA pitching must fall off after the Monday & Wednesday pitchers. BGA could very well win on Friday, but I do not think it will mean a district championship and I see nothing to indicate a "good boxing match".
You could be right, but the "realfacts" do not seem to support your opinion. Too bad it is not "next year" yet or England can't pitch every game. Or maybe England could trade his "Cy Young award" for a Friday pitcher.
BGA doesnt have a friday night pitcher the kid that came from florida was suppose to be a stud from what i heard but looks to be a dud. i dont think he has won a game this year in the region, mite just have 1 out of region, but BGA hasnt found a solid pitcher who could close out the series thats why smith is pitching game 1 or 2 to make it a seriesearly. and doubt it if bga had won that game they would have won district i dont see them sweeping anyone with there pitching
-
season got off to a slow start how did they do in FL
-
I guess bga just played there jv like they did in scrimmage against cookeville(ha)
no BGA had no errors Farragut is one of the top teams in the nation thats about all i posted this because a year ago BGA almost won i think it was 5-4 im not sure
-
whats the outcome
-
MBA will be good. But didnt ensworth lose their entire starting lineup?
ensowrth will be good they will get Mcfadden back who was there 6th man his sophmore yr. and they get Malcom back also and i hear orleans is playing and was a pretty good bball player back in middle school and in the summer before 9th grade in aau but i think MBA is 1 Ensowrth 2 cause of experience BA 3 have talent but not enough experience
-
what were the outcome of the franklin and dickson game
-
A little too much I say 28-7, MBA is losing a lot of offesnive fire power.
i know there loosing alot but Pearl has no fire power on any side of the ball
-
-
Whats BGA starting rotation for pitching look like? 1. 2. 3.
im guessing 1.simpson 2. smith 3. i guess the kid from FL i have heard about
im not sure about 3 but im absolutly positive about 1 and 2
Who are the good young players for BGA?
Michael Smith
and some twins i heard were pretty good also from my buddy at work

Maplewood is a run team they run behind the guard weighing about 400+ and then they run behind James Stone 315 one of the top prospects at the tackle position on the right side they have to good running backs Stanley is the power running back but has speed, LaDarius is the soph. RB with blazing speed heard rumors of 4.3 speed, who has shocked everyone he rushed for 250 on MBA and 250 on Lipscomb, but remember he is running behind 800 pounds but if u put 9 men in the box and blitz and do their job like leaving them to pass the ball and their passing game didn't look so good against Hunters Lane and they were shut out like 21-0, and they didn't look so good against a CPA team should be a great game to watch though
