the kid has great speed and is an overall athlete he is under the radar right now but he will cause problems for teams this year on both sides of the ball single handly at times took over games in the 7 on 7 at tsu on both sides and had a good summer check him out

I dont want to toot my own horn but toot toot....PCH coaching was AWFUL second half had no adjustments at all when they came out after the first drive CPA's defense had there number and it did not look like they talked about anything at half (PCH) Coaching Mistakes i saw (I was on the fence on PCH side the entire game) 1. Swapping QB's in a quarterfinal game. If you are going to do that both QB's need to be alert of the game not when one is in the game the other is on the bench and coaches are screaming for him to go in..because he is not aware of anything going on in the game 2.Your punter who is also the kicker can only punt the ball 15-20 yards but kick it to the end zone on kickoff...with that being said its 4th and 1 on CPA's 40 you have 220-40lbs RB/FB whatever you want to call him you take the delay of game penalty then snap goes over his head and punts the 15 yards CPA's ball at CPA's 40 3. Know how many timeouts you have if you see your players are getting wore down by the no huddle and you have 1 timeout left with about 6 mins left and its 4th and 5 on CPA's 28 and you second guess 4th and 1 you need to punt it on 4th and 5 but instead you burn a timeout and talk about it and then you punt the ball out of timeouts for the rest of the game and on the previous punt it was over the punters head and the long snapper didnt come to the sideline and practice on it.. Congrats to CPA they came out 2nd half out played them and coaches out coached them also good luck next week CPA

you can go to the tyfa website tyfa.org and contact there championship teams and i know mid state has a league this is in nashville im not sure if mid-state has a website though i remember when i was 12 the mid-state and tyfa had the city championship it sounds like a good idea but seems really hard to do

since you follow pearl like i follow pearl since brunetti has been there u can not tell me he has not had at the least 3 state title teams if i didnt attend BGA i would have went to pearl and every time i have been to a pearl game which i attend about 5 each year win or loose i have always heard fans complaining about coaching and their decisions but mainly on the offensive end and i have to agree with them some games are caused by coaching not and defensively pearl has been good year in year out i mean they were the only team that contained the top 2 backs this year Maters and Vanlier even though they had 100 yard games they had to work for them. I know Brunetti gets kids into colleges thats been proving year in year out so if he has all these college prospects where are the state titles to show???? coaching has to come apart somewhere you can have all the talent in the world but without coaching you cant win..

If this was a backyard game without any coaches PCH wins hands down. But this is high school football and you have coaching that plays a huge part into alot of high school games. Private schools have alot of great coaching. Looking at PCH this season they are 0-4 against the private schools BGA and MBA they didnt havent a chance i dont know about the the CPA game but i was at the Lipscomb game and Pearl had no answer for lipscombs defense the offense could not move the ball they scored their only touchdown on a fumble recovery. PCH has had a great team for about the last 5 years if they had some coaching they would have state titles to prove it. Its going to be a hard faught game to the end but i think PCH coaches crumble to another private school like they have the last 3-5 years they are win less against the private schools.

should be a great match up been riding with the wildcats all year why stop here wildcats secondary is playing like the best secondary in the state and Bass is running the ball well look for Marty to have a great game plan and get these boys to the state

ive played with cj at two different schools as well as the front yard and he loves the game and is an amazing leader as well as QB. best of luck to cj and bga! C.J. is a great QB has to get a lil bit bigger but other than that he is a great QB. Nice arm, nice arm strength, and very accurate. I say he gets over 1,000 yards passing i say around 1,500 next year maybe. With the 2 smith brothers and the other WR corp that they have coming back CJ will be very interesting to watch in the nxt 2 yrs.

I would have to say Ensworth will be the team to beat seeing its been awhile since they lost a regular season game, and then BA will be pretty tough all their players are coming back gonna be a toss up, but the competition around the league should be pretty fair. BA vs. Ensworth game is going to be a great game in the season and maybe end up in the state championship game. But the sleepers would have to be Father Ryan who tends to upset BA every year. And BGA is going to pretty good but still young starting mostly Jr. and Soph. and will upset several teams like they shocked MBA during the season, which later got revenge. Baylor good year in year out they could ruin some peoples chances also D-II is going to be very interesting next year.

Haven't heard that. But if it is true there are too many weapons on that team for them to be in trouble!! well there first game without him was a lost to a franklin team who lost 8 seniors with that being said they have a new team this year but returned a great talented PG in the #2 kid and had a transfer from kentucky which they both scored 20 so whats your opinion now that you have seen them after 1 game without him

yes they have Battle Ground Academy got well over 150 yards d the last 2 years they played including the 40-0 win 2007 and 35-21 win in 2008 and DA got under 300 yards rushing

MBA just doesnt have enough firepower. If you shut down Fitz they are done. Ensworth has more than just Orleans.They have other weapons on the offensive side with #5,#8,#2. Orleans will be 100% could have played the last season game against BGA but wasnt needed and has been on a weeks rest and from what i heard he doesnt practice during the week. Ensworth line matches well with MBA. MBA had a win against a smaller and younger BGA team But Orleans flirts with 300 yds i say a 250-80 yard game 3 TD's. Ensworth wins 35-17
