Page takes one on the chin, losing 3-2 at Spring Hill. Five years in a row going to Spring Hill that one of our Parents is run out of the park (or threatened to) and SH side raises heck like a 12U girls softball team plus the usual BS calls that always seem to happen. Bitter? No, mad as heck. I would write a paragraph about it, but as Neidermeyer in Animal House said "Decorum prohibits listing them here". Move on, game 2 tomorrow. But i digress, why in the world would you let a HS pitcher throw 146 pitches? Usher tossed a heckava game but if that was my kid I would be ballistic.

Page 6 Indy 3 Senior Patrick Hood with the Win, Trey Moyer with a save. Nice win for the Patriots heading in to a HUGE series vs Spring Hill next week. Raiders always tough for Page, but Patriots have yet to play a team they can't compete with this season...should be some good baseball.

No doubt Summary, we need a little action from the rest of 12AA. Where's Willie?
-
Page over Fairview 18-0 tonight for season sweep. Evidently a little more focus tonight for the Patriots. Denton started on the bump, not sure if he went long enough to get the W. Indy at home Friday, then big series with Spring Hill Mon-Tues.

Page over Fairview 23-13, wasn't there but am told it was ugly and beyond description. And I'm not talking about Fairview.

Page takes control of 2nd place with an 8-1 win over Summit tonight. Complete game win for Trey Moyer 3 hits & 1 unearned run. Page bats woke up tonight and base runners took advantage of 4 (uncharacteristic) errors by the Spartans. Still a lot if work left for the Pats, but if you're a Page fan you have to like the way this team competes.

Summit takes first one 1-0 in pitching dual between Burdiick & Hood. Only 4 hits each. Big brother Hood won the battle vs brother, but little Hood won the scoreboard

Page lost 5-3 to Indy in a very sloppy game. Pats gave up the 5 runs in the first inning, perhaps jitters playing a AAA school loaded with kids they know and played with in middle school or summer ball. Indy threw their #1 and Page essentially an extended bullpen session. Indy not close to being as good as they have been in years past. Big game today vs Summit...Go Pats!!!

And was quite the blow to Page..took several games to recover. Page @ Summit re-scheduled for Sat 11am, Page @ Indy today.

Not looking like Mother Nature wants the Hood boys going at it tonight, but perhaps it will clear up. This is a huge series for both schools, a sweep would give that team a pretty firm hold on #2 in 12AA with Spring Hill in the lead for now. Page underestimated Summit last year, losing the 1st game outright and the 2nd by blowing a 5 or 6 run lead-with 2 outs in the last inning. Page is playing well this year, off to their best start in at least 5 years. Coach George has the boys playing loose but with confidence. I expect the Patriots to be ready for Summit, who we now know is very well coached and talented as well. Should be a great series!

Page 5 Lewis Co 1 Another complete game win for Senior Taylor Cathey

Page 2 Lewis Co 1 Senior Trey Moyer with the complete game win for the Pats.

Ksgovols all very valid points. OF positions all do have their unique skill differences but typically what I've seen at AA and below is the one with all the tools is in CF. And not to discount your comment on Minor, but LH pitchers topping 90 will draw looks if they're on an island. Really hope Hurt gets a look this season, if not he will for certain this summer with the Dbacks.
-
Best OF regardless agreed Ethan Hurt CF (Harpeth) true 5 tool player who may not get the looks he deserves playing at a AA school but is a D1 talent without a doubt.

Page hosted E Hickman for DH tonight winning both. P Hood complete game win 14-0 in first one, C Denton the winner in 11-0 second game. Where the heck is everybody? Not many posts from around the district...

Page 11 Culleoka 0 Senior Taylor Cathey with the 2 hit win. E Hickman up next this afternoon.
-
Page 6 Giles Co 0 No-No by Senior Trey Moyer (10 K's). Good D by Page (1 E) contained base runners that got on by BB's. Downey & Isom's bats staying hot. Pats now 5-1 (3-1 12AA) with E. Hickman up next.
-
Page lost @ Giles 6-4, a park we just can't seem to get it done in. Credit Phifer, whose complete game effort kept the Pats off balance most of the night. Except for Clay "Mr Peaches" Isom who hit his 2nd HR in as many nights for Page. This one probably 360' over the LC wall. Hosting Giles Friday if the weather holds off.

Page gets the sweep with 14-6 win over Hickman Co last night. Freshman T. Baskin's start was good for 3 innings, Soph J. Barrett coming in for 3 in relief and earned the win, Senior C. Rhodes closed out the final frame 3 up 3 down. Senior Clay "Peaches" Isom with I believe his first career HR-3 run shot in the 2nd inning.
-
Page 7-1 over Hickman Co tonight. Both starting pitchers kept hitters at bay (1-1 thru 6) until Senior Taylor Wallace plated 2 runs with his go ahead single in the top of the 7th. Senior Taylor Cathy with the complete game W including 8 K's for Page. Heard Summit beat Marshall 1-0 tonight to complete the sweep...any scoop out there?
-
Page beat AAA Franklin High 4-1 on Sat with a complete game effort by Freshman Christian Denton. Also beat Moore Co Friday on 6 shutout innings by senior Trey Moyer. Hosting Hickman Co Monday if the rain holds off.

Went to Summit vs Centennial last night. CHS won 7-1, but score really was not indicitive of the whole game. Burdick vs Evans starting on the bump, game tied 1-1 at the end of 7. CHS scored their other runs I believe in the top of 9th with two outs (pretty sure on this, don't shoot if wrong). I want to say all 6 runs were unearned due to a very uncharacteristic E6...it could have been 2-1 at the time of the error, can't remember exactly. Nonetheless, Kirby appears to have Summit picking up right were they left off, playing pretty solid well-coached ball. Score doesn't reflect it, but proof on the field that 12AA ball is pretty strong, playing toe to toe with a AAA team that is one of the favorites to win their district.
