I was there from a different view than in the stands and yes, i must say, who was it again that won the region? boroballer, you must not follow basketball because if you did, you wouldn't have used siegel's district championship win as an arguement when we, oakland, bounced back from that loss to keep our season going and win the game that counted more(region championship). yeah, we fell short of the state tourney, but no one before the season expected us to finish second in our district and even make it to the region championship. So nice try... we won at the right time while siegel lost at the wrong time. End of story.

nah nah... i'm not who u think and i'm not a vandy fan at all either... but we played station camp in the summer and all the guys were talking about how good of a player jenkins is(and they were right) so i heard he was the leading scorer in the nation this year so i started following him... it's cool to watch someone who you could be playing do something that spectacular in high school. He scored 1,228 points just this season and never scored under 30 points in a game and i don't think an average of 42.3 points per game is too bad. Best shooter in the state, maybe the nation. prove me wrong i dare you

i couldn't belive that your whole city showed up to the region final against us... it was our home town and you guys had much more fan support than us...

first of all, john jenkins IS hands down the best shooter in TN... emmanuel andrews is a very good shooter, trust me i was watching him thursday in pre game warmups shooting from nba range accurately with both his right and left hand. But when you put a good defender on him, he won't get a whole lot of points. John jenkins on the other hand gets his points no matter what. he's had teams run a triangle-and-two on him with both guys doubling him the whole game and STILL scored 40 points... simply amazing and that earns him the title of best shooter in the state. but i do agree with andrews being a mr bball finalist last year and i honestly think he could have gotten in the final three this year.
