  1. What did they do to make TSSAA history? Worst record to make it to the finals? You lost me...
  2. Congrats to Gibson for finishing an amazing season with a state championship. Livingston should be very proud of making it to the State Finals. Livingston pretty much beat themselves with all the silly mistakes. The pressure from Gibson had a alot to do with it, it just isn't typical for LA to have that many turnovers. Livingston missed 3 or more lay-ups, got called for a travel over 7 times, and gave up some crucial offensive rebounds to Gibson County. I guess you could say Livingston was just out of gas from their long journey to the finals. The LA girls should still keep their heads up high. Great season and great effort. Make it back next year /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> GC-54 LA-34 Congrats to March from Marshall County on winning AA Miss Basketball.
  3. 4:30 to go in 2nd GC - 14 LA - 10 LA still looks a little nervous. But alot of that may be credited to a quick GC defense.
  4. Livingston has made several mental mistakes in the 1st quarter. We have missed 2 lay-ups and have walked with the ball twice. At the end of 1 GC-11 LA-6
  5. 4 turnoevers by LA already. LA-4 GC-2 M. Sells has scored all of LA's points so far. Looks like this will be a close one.
  6. Haha. This one will be tough to watch. My beloved Wildcats will play their hearts out. No doubt about that. There just won't be much they can do to stop this team. GC - 64 LA - 51 I will try to update the score from the gym if my Berry has a good signal.
  7. ???? Beating chests? Who here is not psyched about this game.. This will be an awesome game everyone knows that. Not much to celebrate when one of the top 2 teams gets knocked out in the first round.

  9. What a game this will be! I am going to say that it will go to overtime...and LA wins as expected.
  10. The difference maker is coaching. The coach keeps the team fighting, keeps the team wanting, and keeps the team's heart and desire at a high level. Coaching is how LA manages to beat Upperman and McMinn. They are the better teams on paper and maybe even talent wise. However, when push comes to shove Coach Smith will win when it matters most. The LA girls have done a great job throughout the season by keeping their heads up when some of the LA fans were doubting their abilities. They kept playing and it is paying off.
  11. Actually, I partly agree with that guy. The same thing happens to Upperman every year. I don't think that the players are worried about points, but pretty much all of the blame can be placed on Coach McWilliams not having her team ready for post-season play. None of that matters now. LA is still in it and they still have a job to do!
  12. If you mean "had" based on polls, maybe now you know those don't mean a thing.
