I hope Giles come to East Friday and acts like "GILES" comes in thinking they got this and East will lay down, ( like they did in baseball in East Hickmans first year, East came to Giles and "spanked that tail" I thought they were gonna riot... ) I predict there will be some shocked fans sitting on the visitor side. If East Hickman can hold the defense together and our QB is on point Giles can bring all the so called "speed" they want. Giles will lose. East can handle speed teams,they will have problems with smashmouth up the gut hammer teams.....in which Giles is not. The matchup will be good,have a good game and watch while the Eagles kick it in Tennessee..... watch the video.....turn it up......listen to the words.......we filmed this in the West cow pasture....

To bad combs......East already won thier first...... Second will be in Waverly. Our County has a heated rivalry always has....... we will be talking about it all year in every sport......get over it.

I still think he intentionally did it just to make the powers to be happy........ let me think back........4th quarter, East is ahead,defense playing great, East is at Hickman 17 yard line, 4th down instead of punting with a punter that was averaging 50 yard punts, he goes for it with the famous "trey keep" getting sacked behind the line letting hickman take over on thier own 10 yard line......... Hickman Scores and we lose.......yea thats it....... Brilliant.

East Offense looked good Friday ,I just hope they can keep scoring alot, because it looks like alot will get scored on them. Definetly need work on defense. Waverly will be a wake up call for the Eagles.

Speaking of talent if I am not mistaken there was a younger Voyles brother,is he playing football? The one that graduated was hands down the best football player I have seen come out of Hickman County, I would figure his brother would be making some noise. Anybody have a update? Who is the Quarterback and running backs? I know Trey Phillips will be a stud but he is only a sophmore this year. I figure the King boy will be Q back, ( he should of been Q back all year in my book) anybody have any ideas?

I dont know if he ever will ground and pound.........the spread dont work for us, never has, we dont have the types of atheletes to go that route(well...... maybe against Hickman or Mont Central) he will need to go with what is the obvious. I dont think there is any real power backs on this team that I have seen so far that can run the ball with authority ( yet ). His star thug has graduated so it will be interesting to see who he empowers this year as King's King ? The key will be a tough defense, if they can stop some teams from scoring at will they will win some games.He has made claim he is going to teach some real defense?????? I have yet to see it so far. I am excited to see the team next year (this years sophmores) if he handles them correctly he will finally have a good team and win some games. I hope this is a productive year......we will see what happens..........good luck boys.......

East Hickman will be returning starting pitchers Sr. Craig Milam and Sr.Dylan Brewer, both were last years Starting Pitchers, Sr.Derrick Gosset will probably be in the rotation also,Our young pitchers got some good experience last year and they can use it this year and another year of growing/strength will help. Last year was a joke for our kids, the coach was a one year paycheck seeker who cared nothing about winning,and has parted ways after his horrible debut. This year looks to be much better as far as trying to get a positive flow going, just because its is a first year young coach does not mean failure. Hopefully our parents will keep thier mouths shut and let him do his job. I am interested to see how disp. is executed on the team this year, we have some "free wheeling loose cannons" that if guided right will benefet East Hickman

It is the other way around. Middle School is proven success.........year after year East Middle School turns out a victorious season. East High school coach needs to see whats his receipe for success..... I think he thinks he is too good or too high up to humble himself to ask for help. Im sure East Middle Coaches will help him out.......(maybe) But will he listen? ( probably not) , He allegedly played on a college level... ( Question is where in the world did he play??? )

Being a realist I highly doubt East will pull a victory, but stranger things have happened. East will be playing at home so they will be playing thier haqrdest,it is senior night ,they will be emotional. If Giles has a bad...very bad game..and East has a game of thier lives... it may turn out to be a good game. I am happy to pull the win over Centerville, if we beat Giles....big bonus.

Marshall county with 6 players out?????????? Amazing how this comes out after East almost shocked Marshall. Now the effort was not valid because Marshall was not fully staffed???????????lol

East is really hurting, I hope Coach will try some new things this week, This plan of action right now is not working, Bench #2( let him focus on another spot) and go with the Freshman , he will need the experience,thats tommorrows Q back. Keep pushing Eagles good things will happen eventually.

It does not look good at all for East Hickman tommorrow or the rest of the year. As far as Ascendotuum comments, It looks like that Middle School Coach is doing pretty good in Fairview at 5-0,so you can throw that excuse out the window,As far as qualifications, Coach Harris was one of the final 2 to get the job,Coach King got it. This is his second year at East Hickman and it has not turned out to be a very productive one. I hope the best for him, but I do not think he has made a positive impact with some of his decisions to allow proven "team cancers" to continue to play. Did all this directly result in his failure this year?, no, but it did not help things.All I can do it cheer for the Eagles and hope for the best. I do not think things will change for the better in the Hickman County School system until Jerry Nash is out of the driver seat.
