LA added another win againt Upperman last night, led pretty much the whole game. Go Hog-eye!

If you wasn't blaming the refs then what was the purpose of the post? Every team notices the calls against their team and I can assure you neither of the Ramsey boys get any favortism from the refs! Matter of fact they get picked at by the refs and cant play as aggressive as their counterparts. Granted, that is what every big man deals with and it has always been that way. Wheaton proved that last night when he stared at Mason after a bad call, just itching to T him up! Would love to see all players be allowed to use the same physical play no matter the size.

No by my reasoning pitt wouldnt be #2 in nation. What is reason for polls if we cant have opinions? This was just mine and I didnt expect everyone to agree, like u said its consensus and based on the season/win/loss so far. GREAT POST I have great respect for Melton as a person and coach and im sad he is gone. I also have great respect for Miller as a person and I think he will earn my respect as a coach "Pleased so far". This is a different team than we've had in the past, its not a dominent team, wasnt under either coach. That is not due to the coaching or we would have beaten JC. Whats done is done so please for the sake of Huit, Melton, Hill, and Eldridge lets give these men our full support as every game is one closer to their last. This team can still make some noise!

1st off, no problem with MC as they have a great tradition and program. A poll that is based on win/loss should be based on just that. Everyone knows there is a difference in pre-season and early season. For one, only one of them counts. For two, different variables are playing themselves out in a scrimmage such as coaches trying different combos, taking a look at younger players in game-time situations, and sometimes its a final try-out 4 a varsity position. Two years ago LA boys beat Boliver 20+ in a playday, then lost to them in state tourn 20+. The fact is MC lost to the 3rd place team in 8AA. So you really dont have a leg to stand on in this debate!

LA dominated Cannon having them down 30 for much of the game before finishing with a 20 point win. I think the top team from 8AA should at least be in the top 3, considering the current 3rd place team from 8AA(Cannon) beat #2 MC!

LAs losses was def to good teams, they also beat cpa, ensworth, Upperman, clarkrange 2 times, all were very valuable experiences! Got cannon tonight!

Your right BigDaddy, guess with Upperman beating Cannan 2 times LA should be the clear cut favorite from our dist. They all should be above MC since they lost to Cannon. If ET is 1 then that makes MC at best 5, if you go by win/loss against AA teams!

Upperman will get theirs!

Hopefully It will be a three way tie for 1st in this dist after monday
