I hear Richard Barron former Webb player who is the associate head coach for the women's team at Baylor university. I also hear Aaron Green and Ricky Norris.

If cak can fire coach Darden anything is possible.

This just further substantiates my earlier premise. Either these people are from the administration or they are friends with the real decision makers. Mr. Naler has been behind this for a couple of years. It is very unfortunate that all of this has been orchestrated publicly. Aaron Green did not give up a salary for 2 years as a ga to get back into high school coaching. Come on people get real.

The union co. coach has a brother in law who was on the board who fired Coach Darden. Coincidence or conflict of interest?. He appears to be a good coach but he yells and demands performance from his players. He also has some talent coming back at Union although they will no longer be playing in a cream puff district. Irish bball you are crazy if you say take Novikoff out and then look at the numbers. There are transfers in every program and you coach the team you have. I guess Pearl should not be rewarded for having Tyler Smith or Prince. Since they transferred in. Regardless I think we can all agree that Cak has not been as competitive but would have been next year under Darden. The new coach should be left alone and not second-guessed by "experts" who played a little in college. This parent really made it impossible for Coach Darden. It is a fine line as a parent to walk in supporting your child and also supporting the coach. No matter who the coach is they are not perfect in the eyes of every parent or player. It is so easy to sit in the stands and critique. It is much more rewarding in the long run to teach your kid to persevere and respect authority. It is also biblical but why should we go there it is still a Christian school last I checked.

Coach Darden is a great coach and an even better man. He is not phony nor a "sexy" hire. He is real and genuine in a place that could use a great dose of both. He was out of his league in playing political games with certain parents and administrators. Coach D did not see things that way. He loved the Lord and kids and the game. All of these things were evident. He is a winner and it was obvious to his detractors that they better get him out now or he would make him I mean them look bad. His team was on the right track and improved greatly throughout the season. His detractors sat in the stands and whined about things. They were experts on basketball. They told many lies and half-truths. His detractors always moved the target of what was expected from him. He took a bunch of kids with little experience and toughness and made them competitive at the end of the season. For him to face cancer and adversity from parents and the ad Denny and not lose those kids was amazing. One parent promised to get him out and he succeded. In the end Kirk Naler and others will lose as well as cak. Coach Darden may be out but he always kept his faith and integrity. He has 599 wins and will win from this as well. Coach Darden is the ultimate winner.
