You know, I is O.K. sayin dat they are better than us. I mean, it is O.K. cuz they are. Now, any given game we could beat em I think, but the rest is fine. Our goal is to get to da region, then da sectionals, then da state...then da finals. Let's focus on dat and not Beech. Rossview lost dar last nite to Dickson County. Dat is a minor upset I would think. We here in the "9" keeps our eye on dat district cuz dat is who we play in da region. Mt. Juliet put out Hendersonville which be another minor upset and is playin my WC right now to see who plays Beech tomorrow. DUBC, I would just keep it simple. Why practice wit another team when da high school is still playin? There is way toooo much to lose if da rules catch you in somethin innocent. But, even if yo intentions be innocent...you may still have to forfeit games. I would not split hairs on somethin this important. I would "Let dat sleepin dog lay" !!! When is "softball season"? Well it is in the spring when high school plays. Don't you know dat? Man, you is a rookie. It is also in da summer when travel ball is played. Can't believe you didn't know dat one !!! And, it is also in da fall when da travel team is playin dat "Fall Ball". Man, you don't know nothin. And of course there is dem hittin and pitchin lessons dat go on year-round. Simply put...softball season is ALL DA DOG-GONE TIME !!! I visited my Aunt Ruthie outside of K-town and had a chance to see Sweetwater play 'bout a month ago. Now, i has seen GP play but not Unicoi. My belief is if Sweetwater pitches da big girl, and she is on, then they can beat anybody on any day. And dat's a FACT!!! Who does they have to get by in order to get to da State?

Forcin dem kids at young ages to make dem choices climbs all over me like a snake in da summer !! It ain't right in any way "Dores"...and you is right. These young kids ain't gotta clue what they wants to do in da future. Momma may know what THEY want em to do and the same goes for da dad. But remember this. If a coach cajoles or bullies your kid into selecting the sport that THEY are coaching, then that coach ain't doing it for the kid. More importantly, they are doing it for themselves. Thanks for dat. Now, when I think of crow hoppin I think of what an outfielder does before she throws that long throw home. It is a hop...then a "re-plant of da back foot" and a push off from the new position. As for "leaping" I think of it as one of dem continuous motions where da back foot drags forward instead of re-setting closer to da plate. Again, kinda like crow hoppin. So, I has thought dat da key to a legal pitch is dat da back foot stays in da dirt as it pulls forward and there is no re-setting closer to da plate and pushing off from there. Finally, is da key that the foot stays in tha dirt and it is a continuous motion forward? The other dude (stlbrd) listed just a brief list of players that have gone on to play in college. And, der be many more. My belief is you was just mean to say dat. You would be hoppin mad if they said da same thing about WC and you and I knows it. Just congratulate da girl (or school) for being in da paper and leave it at dat. Walker Valley is pretty darn good dis year. They "MAY" get outta da district if they do not get upset. But, them girls will have a hard time gettin outta of da region and then survive the sectionals. I do believe dat Soddy and Ooltewah will have something to say 'bout dat.
