Betsy fans SSHHHHHHISH , be quite now . I can't believe I'm hearing this . Don't you guys know that everybody in the state can read these post ? West Tn folks and middle Tn. people are laughing their tails off . You guys are way to close to E.T.S.U. for you to be saying things like that , People won't send their kids to college in that part of the country if they think you people really believe some of the things you're writing . By the way , are you guys selling tickets to a football game or a track meet ? I shouldn't have said that I guess but it's not any worse than some of the things you guys have been saying . Just remember , Betsy you started the trash talking. Lotta heart and won't quit ??????? We shall see !!!!!!!

WOW What fireworks !!! I just got on to check out the scuttle-butt and BAM. This is something else . I tried to read every post , some were even well thought out. Others were shall we say " silly ". I'll think I'll pitch my hat in the ring since everybody else is having so much fun . Betsy are you for real ? No , I mean really . The post that I read about you guys not beating Knoxville teams , thats true isn't it ? Let's go on tradition . Betsy you've never beaten anyone , lol. Sad but true . I think if I'm not mistaken , Science Hill was your biggest rivalry for many years and they've never beat anybody either . What claim do you have for fame ? Jason Witten . Yeah ok , I'll give ya that one but other than that , I mean my lord get real. Is your whole football tradition centered around that one player ? Seems to be . I wasn't going to open this can of worms but you guys wouldn't shut up . How many state titles have you won ? As I said , get real. I'm trying not to get emotional but my gosh you guys up there are not in the real world . Have you ever seen speed ? Naw , I mean real speed . Not upper east Tn speed but real speed . You guys better be quite or the only bird you will eat on Thanksgiving will be crow. I'm sure the roadrunners look forward to the trip -- it otta be a good one for em !!!!!

Well it sounds like a good one brewing. I did get to catch the AE- GP game . AE's defense looked better and seems to be heading in the right direction . The senior QB looked good and I think thats made a difference. They do look fast and I find it hard to believe that " Betsy" see's that kind of speed often. Elizabethton does have a great tradition however I doubt that the AE players know of it. The kicking game truly might make the difference . I haven't even seen us try a fieldgoal but maybe we can , who knows . I think I'm gonna go . Long drive but I didn't see many ex players last Friday night and those young'uns deserve to have a crowd like we did . LeRoy , Von , Reggie , Raliegh where are you ? This new Road Runner bunch has dreams just like we did . We owe the community and the current players . Hope we can show the " Betsy " about our tradition !!!!

I saw and talked with coach Kelly at Chadler's and he wouldn't comment much on the Central - A.E. scrimmage other than he felt good about it. He did say that they felt like they could run the ball on about anybody but he wasn't happy with the pass protection at either scrimmage. Why didn't Cox play in the scrimmage I forgot to ask him ? I also asked about Q.B.'s and he said both were good just in different way's but neither would be good at throwing til he started protecting them.

The scrimmage I was at was at Austin East High School. I'm sorry I offended you. My statement STANDS - 4 to 0. By the way , I like to keep score . That usually tells the good from the bad . I think it did again on Monday night. Central left feeling like losers AND Austin East left feeling like winners . Wonder why ? I guess Austin East kept score too !!! LOL. Get real !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I finally got to attend . I havent got to see any of Spring practice . I totally agree that Central's younger kids looked better than A.E.'s. However I didn't feel that Central could handle A.E. at all on their first teams. I counted the score as 4 to 0 with the starters. The only touchdown Central scored with their first team was not against all of A.E.'s starters. Central's quarteback played under extream pressure all night. The o line couldn't handle A.E.'s speed. The A.E. defense looked very good to me . I heard that neither team had their best running back playing. Will they have another scrimmage in the fall to see if either team improves ?

Did anyone go to spring practice yesterday ? How did they look ? Was their many kids out ?

Was the combine over at school a good one ? Does anyone know when spring practice starts ? Are we going to scrimmage anyone ?

I wanted to try and confirm it before I said a name. I think it's true from the people I talked to. Coach Kelly . He was at Central back when they were good.

I just heard this morning coach Graham hired a new line coach. Does anyone know who it is ? I heard a name but don't believe it but if it's true the line problems we've been having should be over unless he's changed a lot. Cross your fingers !!!
