Region 1AA Grainger defeats Elizabethton 7-3 Not sure on Unico Co vs. Pigeon Forge yet. Heard Unicoi won 7-0, but can't confirm.

6:00 game got rained out after top of fifth with the game being called in Pigeon Forge's favor as they held the lead 3-1. The 8:00 game has been postponed to 4:30 tomorrow. Elimination game being held at 6:00, and winners game at 8:00 to get all games back on schedule.

It's a toss-up. I have seen some very good teams play from the East. Unicoi County and Elizabethton are always good from District 1. According to a lot of people, it will be Goodpasture vs. Unicoi for the Championship. Grainger and Pigeon Forge from District 2 could be sleepers, and Gibbs is just now starting to hit full stride in District 3. Word has it that their bats have arrived. Gibbs' Coach Mitchell always has these girls ready come tourney time. I'm not rooting for anyone in particular. I just think it's going to be a pretty interesting three weeks.

Well assuming you're from Grainger County... I'll throw my vote toward one of your own, Cierra Mudd. Just a great pitcher and all around player with a lot of heart. I've seen her play several games, and she's already signed with LMU I believe.
