So if you do the same thing with a bunt it would be called a squeeze. My husband went to a clinic where he heard college coaches speak that they have done this before oppossed to the "contact" play so that the runner has more of an advantage than just reading the hit. It is risky, but so is a squeeze. So I am sure it is not the first time it has happened, just the first you may have heard.

I have an 11-year-old who loves softball and volleyball. We have found some good things in softball, but trying to find out information about the club teams in the Middle Tennessee area. Are their a large number to choose from? When do most have tryouts? We have done a lot of camps over the last two tears along with team play. Just not at the travel level. Would love to hear what some would recomend for her age. More camps or try to get more into the club scene? I feel I judge her talent pretty well and she is decent. She is far from a superstar, but she likes to work hard. All suggestions appreciated.

Do we have a winner yet? I heard Worth was waiting for the winner of Thunder '93 and Team Synergy. Not familiar with Synergy. Anyone know who they are and where they are from?

Didn't know where else to turn, so I will ask in this thread. I have two young ones in middle school and I would like to get them out to watch some of the district or regional tournament games. When do they begin? Where will they be played at? Are there locations that will have multiple games? Which would be the best to go to in the Middle Tennessee area? Thank you for all the help in advance. Was just turned on to this site and it is great. Heard I could get some great information here.

I am also looking for a pitching and hitting coach in the same area. Someone had told me about a former college coach who is out of the Franklin/Brentwood area. A father from Lawrence County told me they met him while he was working at the UT pitching camp. Can't remember his name, can anyone help with this or how to get in touch with him. Heard he was affordable.
