Well I'm hearing that Lenoir City is targeting the middle school coach from Lenoir City middle! Also hearing that Jon Higgins is getting interest from Powell. I would hope that Powell would go after Coach Mercer since he is a Powell guy. Any thoughts?

Well as wrap another school year jobs are coming open. Lenoir City, Powell, Morristown East, Daniel Boone, and Hixson. Any news on who may be getting these jobs. Always like to see who is moving around.

Oh ok you are speaking of the guy i played for stix. No he is not going for this job he told me. Also he only coached aau for 3 years the rest were in college and high school. Sorry my coach is trying to get a head coaching job at a high school here in knoxville, but dont down the guy because you dont know him. Great guy who just needs a chance.

Gibbs, Piegon Forge, GP, Austin East, Fulton, Carter, Union Co, and Gibbs. You can win there and if Jon does not have his degree then who knows who will get this job!

Coach Layne should not leave but you never know what someone is thinking! Coach Narramore now i really think he is a play in all this. He is from Kingston and even though its in the same district there is nothing like coaching a school from where you live.

Well there is still no coach. Last I heard it was between Stix and the head coach from Jefferson Co. All the interviews are in and done since monday i think and still no news. Like I said earlier SD needs to hire someone inside the county and if it's between these 2 then you know who i think deserves it!

Just heard this yesterday that coach Egg has resigned as head boys basketball job at South Doyle high school. So here we go again who should get this job? start throwing out names. I believe it should be a person from Knoxville, thats the only way to keep some of the South Doyle middle kids there.

Interviews are this week and here are 3 names i have heard have interviews. Mitch Mitchell, LeBrandon (sticks) Marie, and Chris Lindsay. Good luck to all 3.

Well since the deadline for apps was yesterday we should find out soon who will be the front runners for the job.. I know coach creech ( asst coach at walters state) is in the mix.. not heard to much about stix name being mentioned up that way.. I know both have applied for the job but no news on which way it will go!

Chris Lindsay is a great coach, but times have changed and kids do not like some of his methods that worked 10 years ago.. I agree that he is a good coach but this would be the wrong fit! Dre would surely leave if this hired happened... We should find out son who is in the top 5 for this job.

Raul should be the new coach at OR. Just think what he can do with more talent and fasters players. This could be a great hire for the wildcats!

Why would Dre leave? him and coach mitchell get along.. if coach mitchell can not get dre at central.. I dont know who could!
