Mitch Mitchell will take the job. I thought at one point he was going to try the admin thing but i heard that he has a week to decide what to do. He is going to take it!

Mitch is a great guy, but I don't think he will take it sue to him trying to get an administrative job soon. Heard a couple of names that would be good for the job, Aaron Green, LeBrandon Marie( sticks), and Tony Scott. Just a thought who knows only time will tell. Good luck to Matt, great person.

First and foremost Lopez is not coming back! Next the kid somehow got cleared to play... is it right? No the kid has done some bad things but that aside how did he get all of his credits that he failed and how is his gpa above 2.0. those aer the real questions! man it is what it is! Hope everything is legit!

West is by far one of the best teams around. I knew this game would be close. Last year West lost by 2 on a last second shot and they were all juniors and sophmores. Good game for west!

head coach is supposed to be named in the morning. Heard its between a coach from KY, Asst. at LMU, and Sticks the Asst. from west high.

i think a lot of those kids leaving are may decide on who the head coach is. All those kids need to stay together because of the chemistry they have. somebody close to those kids need to talk to the quick! Hopefully they hire a coach who the kids like and soon!

i have heard that is well and i think that is a major mistake! Tyler is a great kid and he is probably hurt that coach jesse left but he still has all of his friends there and he will get just as mant looks there as going to anderson co. Just my thought but i believe he needs to stay, but he has not been with the team at all this year. Hope he knows what he is doing and good luck to him

The new coach is supposed to be named by Friday or Sat.If i was them i would be hesitaite to hire anybody outside the state. For one they do not know the district they are getting into and that is probably the hardest district in east TN if not the state! Hire somebody who knows the kids and knows the district, but hire them soon so the kids are not to far gone where they can't build that realtionship with the coach in the off season like they should!

I heard of 3 names today that are in the running for the job. Coach at Central high in KY, Asst. coach at LMU, and Asst. sticks that was at west high!

Does anybody know who is in the running for this job?

what did he teach? rumor is that he is the man and we will find out today!

Raul is a good young coach and that is him putting his name out there then so be it. I wonder what he could do with more talent? Good luck to him.

Clarence Swearingen is a good man! So is the rest of the basketball staff that use to coach at UT! With his years of experience he could help many programs. Coaching big time college is way different than high school. Your every move is judged by so many people and for the most part College coaches have to go through more than they should! But enough about that i think that SD should be meeting today after their interview with Coach Scoot and decide who they are going to hire. Good luck to both and i believe with either coach SD will be successful soon!

But the story still remains that this job is frighting coaches from applying. Ive talked to many coaches and while the job would be good in a couple of years there are so many questions that would need to be answered about the program and job security is HUGE!

Raul Placeres GP, Union CO Coach ( but i dont think he is leaving, Gary Barnes, LeBrandon Marie, Rodney Nelson. Ive heard that seymour has talked to these guys but no formal interviews!

Well i know if sticks is hired he has a couple of options. He is real close friends with Clearence Swerigean that use to play and coach at UT. Also he know Lynn Allen former coach at Central also he is real close friends with Brian Ware. Sticks also knows the district well from former players plaing for him. I tell you i think either way South Doyle is getting a great coach!

Has anyone have a clue who is the running. I have heard a few names, but not for sure.
