Wow, I go away for a few hours to watch some college football, have some family time and the other thread disappears. Oh well, I guess I made a db mom go off the deep end of the pool. If he can't, you better hold onto your war bonnets tail because Mr. Young will make you pay for it 6 points at a time. You would be better kicking it out of bounds at the 20 or so and take your chances with him on offense from the 35.

The D Young Road Show should light your D for about 250+ yards and 4 TDs. He is tough, shifty, gets in space and makes most Defenses look really bad. IF he is on his game. He could score 42 by himself. Your Tribe better start doing the fumble, rain & snow dance, or it will be a looooong night for DB. I would say that Ricker and Thompson make a Great 1 2 Punch. If Thompson can remain calm in the pocket and while rolling out, East will have a Killer Passing/Running game. He missed 2 long passes by just a smidge or East would have had 2 LONG TD's on the board vs JCHS. Looked like he rushed the 1st one just as the receiver broke free. SC better just not load up in the box to stop Ricker. He is a "LOAD" to bring down for sure. Not the fastest RB, but He is Big and Strong. East can use the passing game to open up the run if SC crowds the line as they will be without one of the best pass rushers in the IMAC due to shoulder injury. I have seen both teams and unless SC has an answer for the above mentioned combo, it will be a long ride back to Sevierville Friday Night for the Bears. Go Patriots !!!! Because it is ALL about the MONEY with the T$$AA In their divine wisdom, they cannot change things that they KNOW need to be fixed in mid stream (during the season). Lets let the pain train roll and "fix it" next year. IMHO, the state of Tennessee should have no more than 4 Divisions for "regular" High School Football. A , AA, AAA, AAAA max !!!!! then the "Private" divisions. My 2 cents

Thanks Eastfan!! I would have taken an ugly win over Mo-W to the sickening loss we got stuck with. We still need to beat South Doyle. Still take it one game at a time JCHS!!! Crazy question? What are the district standings if Morristown East beats SC and Seymour beats Mo-W and JCHS wins over South Doyle???? I think it is : SC, Mo-W, JCHS, M-East, Seymour, Cherokee, SD, CC as it is now, but not for sure. Go Patriots!!!!!

I think I would rather play at Maryville, but JCHS has to take care of business on Senior Night to take step one on that path. If not, I will be very disappointed for the team. I will be there with my Cowbell Crazies and enjoying Senior Night with my son. Go Patriots!!!! Beat the Canes!!!!!!!!!!!

My daughter and her best friend and one of their friends from west were on the track when the kicks happened. They were right behind the uprights during the kicks and they all 3 said the kicks were good. Heck the ball almost hit my daughter on the FG. Even one of our golf Coaches cussed because it was such a bad call on the first one. It does not matter anyway. The record will say they won and we lost. Best thing I think the boys can take from the game is that they fought from behind after 2 BIG turnovers for TD's in the 4th quarter and still had a shot to win. We are not a bad team and they still have a ton to play for. This Friday: Senior Night vs Mo-E Go Patriots!!!!!!!

I do have to ask: Is there any chance of making the playoffs even if we win out and are 6-4? The T$$AA's wacky system makes it hard for me to tell. Anybody out there know? Also, congrads to SC. You will be District Champs. Peace

Time for my rant: I can sum the loss to Mo-W into one word. Refs Were there other things we could have done to win, yes, but the missed field goal that wasn't missed and the missed extra point that would have tied the game 21-21 that wasn't missed was ALL ON THE REFS. (For those of you who think #73 missed those kicks. Watch the film. He did not miss.) Not to mention the no calls for 2 blocks in the back during the 2nd INT for a TD to give Mo-W and 20 to 14 lead. Sadly, watching the officials body language and smirks was just enough the make you vomit. I would like to know how much they were paid. Yes, I said paid. From listening to many of the Mo-W fans talk after the game, they know they should have lost and that Jeff Co was robbed. Way to go Refs. Way to go. I also wonder about the AC/DC being played over the loud speakers when Jeff Co was running plays on 3rd and 4th downs. Is that allowed under the T$$AA rules? Not sure, but if it is allowed, I would think every team needs to wire in the biggest sound system they can get for making noise. Who needs Cowbells when you have AC/DC's "Heck's Bells". Peace or should I say wire 'em up boys.

Looks like the “week off rust†wore out after halftime Friday. Good win Patriots!! Not letting the “Big Red†hang-around in the 3rd Quarter was good Coaching and effort from the Team. Now onto Cherokee and Homecoming week. Stay focused and do not overlook Cherokee! They will be gunning for us……… Peace

Looks like the Mo-West boys ran into the Bear Cave and got mauled to death. 28-13 as the final and it should have been worse. 3 consecutive penalties to open the 3rd quarter took much of the air out of the SC players, but not enough to get Mo-W back in the game. Mo-West is big on the line, but they are SLOW and got winded early in the game. That is off season conditioning as the weather was nice. Also, Mo-West’s #24 is an impressive and solid player. He is someone to watch. Congrads to SC for the Win!!! Now then, the Patriots need to get focused on Cocke County and take care of business next week. We are now in the driver’s seat for the District and control our own destiny, but must not overlook ANYONE!!! Go Patriots!!! More Cowbell!!!!! Peace

Thanks CoachTFlorida !!! I think that after Friday we have a good chance to win the conference. We still must take it ONE game at a time and “make good things happen†for ourselves. The off week is MUCH needed and I pray coaches use it to revaluate the talent and make the adjustments needed for the stretch run. Glad to see we overcame the bad calls and lack of officiating to hold the flightless eagles to Zero points. Keep working hard and stay positive. We have a ton of talent. We can and should win the rest of our games and be in the playoffs where anything can happen….. GO PATRIOTS!!! & GO DEVILS!!! & GO INDIANS!!! More cowbell!!!!!

I understand Goins playing will be a game time decision. That is why coaches have to develop the younger players. This team should have the depth to get it done tonight and every Friday. I wish them many Blessings tonight. More Cowbells will be there, but my ringing will be limited. Shoulder surgery kind of does that. lol But I will do my best to support the Team.
