Nobody got past Soddy, the point is there are great players on the DII teams that deserve to be on the All Tournament Teams.

Fury 95 will be there if the TSSAA tournament is over. I still can't understand why Hendersonville finds it necessary to have this qualifier the same week as the TN high school state. If we get rain or a "if" game the girls don't have a chance to enjoy a state championship.

Lets remember that before the Fury 95 joined the Fury Organization they were the Chattanooga Impact. I think the record against Worth 95 has been very decisive.

I doubt that Mizuno would travel to Illinois even if they were lucky enough to qualify.

I did not see them in the fall. They must have improved a lot from last year.

The problem is how many teams will really pursue a berth. We will have more berths in the younger ages than teams that will travel(outside of Florida) to compete at that level. I really don't understand why a school should reclass due to playing 8th graders. The best nine should play, I don't think coaches should bring a kid up if she is not going to start or be a productive player. The biggest concern should be the maturity level of the kid and if she can handle being around the older girls. Most girls who play at a high level in the summer are already playing more competative softball than high school anyway.

I totally agree the best 9 should play. I don't understand why you feel 4 years should be it. If an 8th grader is good enough to play up, why take a year away from the kid.
