things have been going well for you guys in the conference. but let me give you one bit of advice....although everyone should have a long term goal of going to the state (and even of winning it), baseball, and sports in general, are about the smaller goals. the kind of goals that cause the larger goals to take care of themselves. for example: improve every day, look to the next game and win it, win the conference, district, region, etc., etc....these type of goals keep things in perspective but still lead to your ultimate goal if you can achieve them.....
trust me. no one has ever won a state title by dreaming JUST about the state tournament. i'm not saying that this is what you're doing, but i just wanted to throw that out because doing that causes you to get knocked off early....take care of business daily and see what happens...that's when you start to meet and exceed goals...
