Are you guys serious? Farragut is the best team in the state. I'm not saying a score because farragut is gonna win anyways, and a win is a win regardless of score. Who ever said that their bench is slow and not very skilled... how long have you been in dreamland?

It was a hard fought game on both sides, this is why it went into double OT. Blackman had many many shots on goal and inside the 18 but were deflected by riverdale's defense. Both teams played their heart out, and i believe everyone left it out on the field. BHS just pulled away in the final 37 seconds with a cross and a header to seal it up 1-0. GO BHS!! 12th shut out this year! ... 3rd year team wins district champs! Riverdale, don't hang your heads too low ya'll played well. smallz

well.. blackman is district champs as of tonight because we beat cookeville 4-1.

Well let me tell you a little something about the ohs vs. bhs game... 85% of the time oakland got the ball on their side of the field from us they drilled the ball out of bounds. I'm sure they atleast kept the ball in bounds during the other games, but they just looked like a good rec team when they kicked it out all of the time. It was a well fought game in freezing rain, i'm not downing ohs if ya'll think i am.. all i'm saying is that's one of the reasons it was 2-0. smallz

That one guy from hendersonville who always takes the throw-ins.. he's get really good strength and can throw super far. he's dangerous when he's throwing in from the 18 and in.

In the first half, bhs played like crap, we could never finish any shots. Total shots on goal, prolly like 40. total goals - one. We definatly dominated the 2nd half. Riverdale won more 50/50 balls because of size. But Blackman definatly was more physical. BHS definatly should have won, we just couldn't finish. smallz

No, eagleville does not have a soccer team that i'm aware of... they recently just tried to have a football team. If they did, they'd be garbage anyways. I'll post my predictions after thursday nights game because basically it's all up to whoever brings it. good luck to all

LKrunner, just shut up... no one is promoting blackman. If they are, oh well... get over it. It'd be the first time Blackman was ever promoted in a sport.

basically i don't know woh throw46 is and i doubt he goes to bhs... so blackman isn't saying how they're going to "win districts and regions." We know that it's going to take a lot of practice to get that far. We failed the last two years and know that it's anyones game when they step on the field. IT all depends on who brings it and who doesn't. smallz

Jay richardson AKA soccerjay20 goes to oakland high school. He left BHS to go there his senior year. I goto blackman and i don't know of a single bhs soccer player that has promoted himself on coacht. so lkrunner ... basically you don't know what you're talking about. smallz

That sucks about copen, although i don't know the whole story as to why he was kicked off, but arman prolly had good reasons. If i were ya'll, i'd wait to see who finishes up where before rankings are put up. I don't really know why blackman is put up at number one, we've only played 2 district games. I think cookeville and warren co, should have a descent year so i also don't know why all of the rutherford co. teams are posted in the top three. Just wait until the district playoffs begin to start posting the top spots. smallz

All three of those guys are great coaches. The guy from cookeville certainly did a good job last year, and who can argue with 50 straight wins? Vice is doing a good job this year with blackman. esp for this being the 3rd year in school history. This is the first year BHS has started off with a winning record.

Well, White Co. just got shut out 5-0 by Blackman tonight. Tyler Morrisey had two goals, Brett Todd had one, Jeff Boyten scored one, and one of the many Alex's scored one. Blackman pretty much dominated the entire game despite playing on a rock.

I don't recall bhs ever sticking 9 guys in the box. We usually play a 3-5-2. We might have stuck a few guys back there last year during the district tourn against cookeville only because they had tons of speed and talent and we were playing indirect.

i'm with thekeg55, i think cookeville will do a lot better than previously posted. Why was lebanon posted higher than riverdale? As long as teams don't play Warren Co. at their home field, WC shouldn't be as hard to beat as some people think. I think one reasons blackman is posted as high as they are is because this team is loaded with great juniors and seniors - not to mention great coaching. Unlike most teams that rebuild in a year, blackman has had to wait 2 years to get their first team of seniors because all of the (good)starters were sophomores. By the way -cookeville basically dominated last year. I saw all of their games at the district tourn. at blackman and the way they passed the ball around and found open spaces were basically amazing. uuumm i'm sorry, what game were you watching?.. because the score wasn't 2-0 it was 2-1. Hendersonville won off of a pk in the last 3 minutes. It was a good game, but the call for the pk was garbage; H-ville was falling the a lot in the box much of the game when the ball was around the box, and they finally got a call. come on guys, let's get the scores right.

DB can win the game. But it's very hard playing in the 'boro... especially in tomahawk stadium. You guys have to bring it a lot like blackman did last week. Only you guys have to keep that momentum going through 48 mins of intense football. This will be no easy game. so no predictions on the score. smallz
