So the score is right. That is plain wrong! The referees could also get involved by keeping the clock running after goals and slowing sown the next kickoff. But that is way too much! I hope the Boone AD or principal writes to Science Hill and the TSSAA.

I agree with Welshdragon about playing hard and to win. BUT a team can still play not to score. I know the coach at Science Hill real well and I am embarrassed. If you are to play the best to the end and not relent, then your philosophy would only work if you didn't pull all the starters. 26-0 is wrong!

On the Tennessee scoreboard for soccerinfo.com the score listed for the Science Hill?Boone game is 26-0. I hope that is a typographical error? Can anyone comment on this as far as the accuracy?

It sounds like someone on this thread has an inherited ego problem. Maybe the older players on the team need to explain to the younger players a few things about talking trash or providing bulletin board material for other teams.

My guess would be even if the state allowed dual participation, the high school coach could still prohibit a player from playing club. He probably would give the reason that he wouldn't want to take the chance on losing ood players to injury. I know that could happen anyway, but it increases the odds of an injury happening.

I haven't seen Daniel Feagans play in 3 years but he was fast and could dribble very well. I imagine those are still part of his arsenal now. He was reluctant to pass the ball to other players, but I imagine tat he now does that also. I guess time will tell by seeing how many assists he gets this year. If he draws defenders and then passes, Ooltewah will have an atack of several very good players.

Chip! You are saying that the teams in McMinn's district are good enough that anybody could win the district? Rhea County and Bradley are up there with Cumberland and Clevleand and McMinn? That would be quite the season instead of knowing that McMinn and Cleveland are going to dominate.

Cleveland hosts McMinn this year and they are only playing once against each other in the regular season.

I think PSA4 on another thread said that Baylor beat Cleveland 1-0. I heard it was on a pk. Was the scrimmage close? all defense? How did it come down?

Easy there. I don't believe McMinn is going to crush Cleveland. McMinn might be the favorite team, but that doesn't mean that they will crush Cleveland. Isn't the game at Cleveland? If so, that should work a little to Cleveland's advantage.

Dean Wilson's team lasted 2 years after the u-12 title year. He was a great player and had ties with Leeds- but he did not play on a world cup team for England. and for that matter neither did Pedro.

I actually thought that PSA under Pedro underachieved with the talent they used to have. Igor and 2 or 3 of the guys from Dalton along with you John and several others. My vote is J. Weekly for high school, which the thread is about. I meant that as a compliment that you guys had good players. Definitely, Pedro over Manny.

Coach Macdonald coached at Vanderbilt and they beat UVA. UVA was coached by the national team coach. April Heinrichs had 4 great teams at UVA and several at Maryland. That is a great accomplishment for Coach Mac.

Thanks for the information. I have followed and watched him play for about 6 years. Hopefully he can help build that program. It has been down for ryears.

Mctribe 10, if Hinshaw went to UNC- are you inferring that he played thee. That is not true. The UNC roster doesn't list him. Do you mean one of the UNC extension campuses? actually I think he is a senior this year.
