Soddy Daisy scores a run in the bottom of the 7th to defeat Ooltewah 4 to 3 in the winners bracket final of the 6 AAA tourney.....Ooltewah will now play either Central or Red Bank in the losers bracket final tomorrow.....winner to meet Soddy for the championship.

District 6 AAA will be played at Chattanooga State and i believe the District 5 AAA is being played at Rhea County High School......

Grace Baptist Academy is in Class A.....They have a very good left handed pitcher....I think she only has one lose this seasaon and that was to Soddy Daisy in the Ooltewah tournament....not sure about that though.

Goodpasture and Soddy tied 0-0...goes to the tiebreaker......Soddy scores a run in the top half of the inning on a Goodpasture error....Goodpasture scores 2 runs in the bottom half of the inning on 2 Soddy errors....great game by two very good teams....game ended at 12:35 am....You could tell both teams were pretty worn out and cold.... they havent started playing as of 1 pm est........and now there is another line of storms headed for Hamilton County and there is a tornado watch for the area......not looking good for softball at Soddy lake.....

Way to go lady Owls.......You ladies kept the state title in district 6 AAA for the 4th straight year....that is awesome....I am so happy for your coach also....she gets dogged out on here often...glad she is getting the last laugh and after all shes been through this past year, she deserved something good to happen in her life.....kudos to her and to the whole team......

Are the AAA brackets on TSSAA.com correct? Why do they have the 2 mid state teams and the 2 east tn teams meeting each other in the first round.......hasnt been that way in the past....
