i heard oak ridge dominated the game and brentwood only had about 2 shots on goal is this true? it is just hearsay but i was wondering how the game was played and what happened

I guess we will find out soon enough who will win the region but from what I have heard columbia sounds like a very strong team and shouldn't have many problems with riverdale. If blackman plays up to its potential then it should also be able to get past tullahoma. Columbia and Blackman will be a toss up. Both teams are very capable of winning and we all saw last year how columbia beat blackman at blackman to end their season in the region semis. Hopefully all teams will play well and there will be some great games.

Well it looks like Tullahoma will be playing at Blackman and Riverdale at Columbia for the first round of regions. How does everyone this these games will end up and who do you think will win the final?

I believe that the four teams that will be trying to get the two seeds to sectionals are all pretty good teams. Both district finals will be fights and close games since the underdog beat both of the favorites earlier in the year by one goal in each game. From what i have heard columbia has a very good defense this year with a good keeper so any time they get a score early on they have to be considered dangerous. Riverdale has the ability up front to put many goals in the back of the net but there defense and keeper are suspect and somewhat untested by the stronger teams in the state. Blackman is a really good team and if they get things going then they could be able to go pretty far but mental lapses and a few mistakes could easily end anyones season. I dont know much about Talluhoma but i have heard they have a pretty good defense as well. I believe the teams who make it to the finals will all depend on how the district finals go and which team comes out today. Just remember last year's far more talented Blackman team was upended by Columbia because they didnt come out to play and got behind on a mistake in the back so anything can happen...

I have been on the sideline the whole year for Blackman due to an injury, but right now Blackman just flat out isn't playing and isn't getting it done. The Riverdale and Oakland games aren't very bothersome because in both of those games Blackman dominated and had about a 20-5 and 40-3 shots on goal differential for each game. The one thing that is somewhat bothersome is the fact that it doesn't look like the team as a whole is playing together because it just looks like a bunch of individuals trying to do it all. Don't get me wrong we are a good team but right now we aren't playing well at all right now and hopefully we will find some heart and pride and get back to the form seen earlier this season. I predict there will be a turn around and we will be able to advance far in the postseason but we will have to play better than we have of lately to do that.

i think it is number 7 up top who is there best player. number my not be right but im pretty sure its 7. pretty physical team but they aren't great at all. should be an easy win

Im just tired of hearing all the columbia fans and players talk about themselves and try to get people to talk good about them. So what if they went to the final four last year. This is now and they have to prove themselves against the best teams in the state this year.

Yeah gallatin played a good game. Blackman just didn't convert on some opportunities and they allowed the gallaton attack to slip behind the defense a few times. During the first half Blackman controled the entire field pretty much and #2 on gallatin made a heading save on a goal off of a cross. Gallatin played a good game and Blackman didnt play with as much intinsity in the second half and just had a very sloppy game. It will be interesting to see how they will respond to the loss.

how do you all think the games will go tomorrow night riverdale at shelbyville and columbia at blackman? what about the finals? any of these teams have the talent to go far into state?

I believe Jeff Boyton is probably one of the most dangerous scorers in middle TN right now. He has a great shot and has good awareness of the field. He did score in the game against Hendersonville. His explosion, speed, and footskills all make him one of the best forwards around. Not only can he score but he also has created many scoring opportunities for other players on his team.
