not bashing them just stating a FACT! They will win some games this year for sure. I am a little upset at the poster on here saying CC looked bad!

after the first play of the scrimmage, SD never had a play over 4 yards and had plenty of negative yards for sure. CC had a goal line stand when SD started at the 4 after a turnover. CC had some good drives. Oh yea, SD only had 1 first down other than the first play of the game. That was my take on the scrimmage which lasted just a half.

How did the scrimmage go monday against cumberland county?

doing great Ken. I heard about NW and how it all went down and Offutt will be the coach from what i hear. Things are fantastic here and the kids are great. Hey they don't even talk back to you. They are pickjing up the system on both sides of the ball. Cumberland scrimmages Heritage on Monday as it got cancelled last friday due to weather. We shall see how things have progressed. Been tough with all the frickin rain. Keeping things kind of basic right not but trying to get them to do things correctly and at full speed. How are things at CHS? Smack Cooper for me if you would!

was what has happened to the kenwood track program? they seem to be in a down turn and not competing very well this year. Anybody know what is up with the boys and the girls?

you are going to tell us that when Calvin McNairl was a senior the HC was way down? COME ON MAN!!!! HC was supposed to beat Kenwood by 40 plus and they got beat in OT if i recall correctly! HC gets to coach freshman but they do not count against their numbers. I bet you that if that were to happen and HC was at 6A they might not make it as far as they have in the past. Do not take me wrong because i believe that HC is a tough team to deal with and will be. I just do not think they would go deep in the playoffs at 6A@@ JMO!!!

Springfield's visitor and home sides are the same way! I just walk behind the kids to the other end! I agree ELA that the coaches box needs to be enforced equally! You are also correct that the horse collar needed to go!

here is what you do for the coaches box thing: make the get back line 3 yards from the sideline, then make another one a yard further back where the players have to stand. THis one yard zone will give those other coaches who cannot be in the box room to walk without the players getting in the way. This is what we have done at our school the last few years! It is not a big deal to me. Glad to see the horse collar rule. As far as the A11, if a team runs it then you just have to prepare for it. It is a pain in the butt, but you can get it done! Just like you have to prepare for i guess it is the swinging gate on extra points!

it is not a new high school, they are just building a new SYCAMORE HS cause it has outgrown it's size! Supposed to be on the same road only a little bit down from the middle school! From what i hear they will move the middle school over to the existing HS. This is what i have been told about it!

So how many coaches will the new man be allowed to hire and what are goingto be the teaching positions that are open there?
