Last i heard mac has had arm trouble and will be having surgery on his rotator cuff. I feel for him, Mac is one of those guys who are never negative, just a great all aroung guy, but stuff like this happens unexpectedly all the time

Chris Street can def. throw it. The three guys from Central you were referring to were Bobby bratton of coarse hittin 88, dustin mcdonald hittin the 86, with a broken big an dmiddle toe, and 85 being Andrew Luther with Shoulder Tendonitis....with all of these guys healthy with Chris Buie hittin around the low 80's central has some pretty good heat. I also hear McBroom from CA is throwing the ball in the mid 80's.. whether it be true or not it doesn't matter b/c the kid has 2 no hitters.

No negative feedback here. marketing your players not only helps the individual player, but also other players get noticed on the team as well, which has happened many years for Central.

Bratton has went to Elementary School in columbia, at baker, middle school at whitthorne, and highschool at Central. his father moved after his sophmore year, therefore he is eligible to play, and if there is some bend to this rule, he is still eligible b/c he has a parent in the school board system. And about Kinnard, every year someone says somethign about that. You think after two years of complaining it would stop. Both of his parents are teachers in columbia and he's now been there two years now. He too is an eligible player. And there is no one else off of the team that is in any way out of zone or uneligible

Chris street is a good pitcher for Spring Hill don't get me wrong, but i wouldn't go as far as saying he "brings it". Unless alot has changed....he'll throw 85 in his first inning or so and then drop down quite a bit and lose control. He is the type of pitcher that is either on or off and has no embetween

CA always finds a way to come thru in the end like all columbia teams. But i do think it is hillarious that someone from summertown started the post asking if CA would be any good when you got NO HIT BY THEM. Best of luck to you bulldogs

His pitching was well....he pitched a 2 hit game against hendersonville, both of them being drag bunts. And the run came in on an error. He smashed two homeruns agasint them, and had all three hits for columbia. Against CBHS he went three for three or four for four i'[m not sure. And later in the day he hit a walk off homerun against Clarksville before the game was canceled due to rain.

A tournament in Symrna ought to have some pretty good games with teams like Dickson, Libscomb, Columbia Central, Hendersonville, and Christian Brothers High, should show some good match ups

congrats on beating blackman, but i just don't see how it happened. Is blackman not playing well, or has this whole pre-season talk been just a big hype. We played the LaVergne last thursday, and they could barely touch a ball...offensivly or defensivly for that matter.
