    8AAA Standings?

It's very unusual to see Tullahoma at the bottom of the page.
  2. I'm a Central supporter, but I want to congratulate Lawrence Co. on their win. Now go pick on the other 8AAA teams and leave us alone!
  3. Everyone has been praising CC for their win, but I want to congrat FC for making it a tight game. I didn't see this game but I have seen both teams play over the last 4 years. It makes me feel good to see struggling teams hang in there and come back stronger. Good coaching helps but it is the determination of the existing players to stay on the team and new players not discouraged from past seasons wanting to play. Hang in there ladies, your day will come!
  4. Maybe this is their turnaround year. GOOD JOB LADIES!!
  5. How did 8AAA teams do in this tourny? Did any 8AAA team play each other?
  6. You are both right, but some coaches don't take advantage of these "play days" and let all of their players play a fair amount of time. They may get to go in, but won't get to play long. This sadly happens in all sports.

    8AAA

Em can do the job. As for the situation, "What goes around, comes around!" I bet we know a family that is laughing!
  8. Have the game times been set?

I know why Angie left, what happened to Susan? Who will catch?
  10. Congrats from Columbia. thumb

  12. Sorry, I misread the post. I still don't like youth "all star" teams of any sport.
  13. This is one of the reasons I don't like "all-star" teams in youth sports. What about Lawrenceburg, Shelbyville, and Franklin County? They have some very good players that didn't get the chance to be in the running because they were not in the final 4 as was said. This should be for individual performance, not how your team finished.
  14. I don't know Brittany, but my sorrow goes out to her and her family. I know how she feels because my dad died the same way many years ago when I started high school. Keep the faith and things will work out. She will always live in your heart.
  15. Mike does a great job. His coverage is focused on the Tullahoma area, but he also gives the opposing team plenty of unbiased coverage in his articles. He is also a great photographer, getting great action & candid shots of the players. In fact I used one of his articles and a photo in my daughter's college recrutement package. She plays for Columbia and he had no idea of who she was other than a name & number on a jersy when he wrote about a play she made in Tullahoma last year. Keep up the good work Mike! thumb
  16. I think this season has been one of (if not) the tightest race of the top 3 teams in this division in the last 4 years. Each time these teams played each other, most of the games went into extra innings with only one run winning the game. (Except the spanking that LC gave us/Columbia the first time.) Even though my daughter got sick and couldn't play out her senior year, I was still wired at the end of each game!
  17. Both teams played a good defensive game. There were some close calls that had fans from both sides disagreeing with the umps. But, there was no doubt about how the winning run was scored. The game tonight should be another close one. I hope whoever represents 8AAA goes all the way, and does so with class. thumb Good luck to the Lady Lions next year!
  18. sportalcholic - Thanks, this should be a close game also. Y'all have done an excellent job hosting the Districts this year. thumb
  19. What time is the Columbia / LC game tonight?
