  1. I realize your examble is a hypothetical but I don't see you in a private school anywhere because most private schools require that their students be able to demonstrate a room temperature IQ.
  2. Oak Hill does some serious national recruiting. In addition to a shot at a scholarship to a D1 powerhouse, they offer no nonsense discipline, strong academics and no frills room and board. They also play a national schedule which included Liberty last year. And they're in the middle of the sticks.
  3. It turns out that the number one motivation for transferring to another school is atheltics. Who would of guessed? Your insight into the human condition is breathtaking.
  4. Reportedly, by MPS, a player transferred from BA to Zion, ipso facto, he was recruited. If a very good football player transfers from a private to a public, was he recruited?
  5. Maybe after Webb has won 15 state tennis championships as Baylor has done, you might have some room to woof.
  6. Glanced at the article in the TFP about Flatt. Didn't notice any quotes. Are you quoting one from a different source? Potter with BA's talent might have to move up to D1 NCAA. Not a better X's and O's coach in the state.
  7. Makes perfect sense. Tyner has never dodged competition. In fact, they actually welcome it.
  8. And McCallie wins again: Baylor S-1,2 D-1 McCallie S-3,4,5 D-2
  9. Ok, one more time. I don't know you, I don't know MPHJR, I don't even know if there is a MPHJR. Are you telling me that ,if there is a MPHJr, he reads on coacht that a poster (in this case takedown3) made reference to MPHJR's high school and its lack of state championships and now the heretofore unknown MHPJR is offended? Did you tell him that his father(you) was actually MPH and that you like to waste your time on coacht and that there's a poster referring to MPHJR and that he ought to be offended? Come on, help me here. You're confusing reality and the internet. Oh yeah, one more thing. No thanks for "going bad" on "you people"? Not an attaboy or anything?
  10. You're not an English teacher? Next, you'll admit to not being a rocket scientist or a brain surgeon. Ok! Ok! Here goes. Shame on all of "you people" for saying that public schools recruit! Don't you know they would never recruit. That would be against the rules. Those newpaper articles about coaches buying shoes for middle school basketball players in Memphis was just another case of the Elite Media picking on west Tennessee. Boy, that feels so much better! I'm glad I got that off my chest. Let me know if there's anyone else you want me to denounce. Oh yeah, one more thing. Please explain how I have "bashed innocent children". Now, I've been known to drive over the speed limit, fudge on my tithing and watch too much TV but I don't recall bashing innocent children. Wouldn't you have to actually know a child to bash him or her.
  11. You're right but MPH is kind of like a scab. You know you shouldn't pick at it but sometimes you just can't help yourself.
  12. How's this" Not to mention, monitor every teacher or coach at every public school. Oh wait a minute, it's impossible for a public school to run afoul of recruiting rules because, as not proven conclusively by MPH, publics do recruit". Is that better?
  13. It's "Moron" not "Morom" you moron! Seriously, what or whom should I be afraid of? Somewhere on this string are several posts about some kid moving somewhere (I think it's supposedly your school) to play football. Don't know anything about it but apparently you and he do. He claims he has proof. You claim he's wrong. Let me know when you sort it out. What do you want me to do, post that he's wrong and you're right? On the other hand you've made broad indictments of illegal recruiting by all (and then you changed it to some) private schools. You haven't offered any proof. And when challenged, you say it's only your opinion. You must have seen, heard or experienced something, sometime that formed your opinion. What is it? Based on the innuendo in several of your posts, you're assuming that because private schools and magnet schools are successful, they must be breaking the rules.
  14. That would be "you people think". "People" is plural which would require the verb.... Oh, never mind. Hey, MPH, seriously, I hope you're bringing the same passion to academics at your school as you're bringing to something so relatively insignificant as athletics. You're really getting a little too worked up over this stuff. I was on two state championship teams (captained one my senior year) when state championships actually meant you were the state champion. After not that many years following high school, no one really cares what you did in high school. HS athletics might seem important now but in a short time, you'll figure out that the quality of academics in your kid's school is what you should have been obsessing over. Now back to coacht, you moron!
  15. Not to mention, monitor every teacher or coach at every public school. Oh wait a minute, it's impossible for a public school to run afoul of recruiting rules because, as has been proven conclusively by MPH, publics do not recruit.
  16. "What is _________" - H-E-double hockey stick. If you'll notice, you won't find an instance where I've personally "insulted or degraded...............teacher" by accusing public schools of recruiting. In fact you won't find where I've used the word "puplic", "recruit" or "recruiting" in the same post. In fact, I don't know if I've even mentioned recruiting in this string. I think that's another protagonist or three on this board you're thinking of and you're doing a fairly miserable job defending public schools. If you start at the beginning of this string on page one, you'll notice where you start all this crapola about private schools recruiting - and the string's about magnet schools! A number of other posters respond to your unfounded accusations with accusations of their own about public school recruiting. Some actually cite specific instances. I have no way of knowing whether their factual or not. I figure you're going to take issue with them because you might know something about the public schools they're accusing.
  17. Compliments of the BEP, we in the wealthiest counties now have the priviledge of subsidizing the rural counties to the extent the state is giving them more than double what it returns to us. Even if the academics in rural counties still trail urban ones, their athletic facilities are now the best in the state. And hey, one out of two aint bad!
  18. So now you're heartlessly attacking those of us who are vertically challenged and use pocket protectors! I certainly hadn't attacked you based upon your physical shortcomings (Mental - yes. But that was a layup!) I'm not sure how I'm attacking your family members when A) I don't know who the ____ you are, /cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" /> I have no idea who your family members are and C) I don't see how attributing your motivation for slandering private schools to MPH Jr's (Try to keep this thought in your mind - I have now idea who (or even if) there's a MPH Jr) lack of winning a state championship, can be construed as an attack upon your offspring. I mean, afterall, he certainly has a lot to overcome with your gene pool.
  19. First of all, I don't know him (really wouldn't want to) and don't know if he actually has a kid (should be laws against folks like MPH reproducing). Other than the fact that MPH's high school (Did MPH actually graduate from one?) hasn't won a sufficient amount of state championships do you think he'd be on coacht with some of the worst reasoned arguments ever to be posted? The guy insults private schools, their students, their administrations and the parents of students by accusing them of cheating with no other support for his conclusions other than they've been successful.
  20. Proof of what? You're confusing posters. It's not me making unsubstantiated accusations of cheating. I'm really curious about your thinking process. You casually accuse individuals of cheating but offer no rationale except you "think" they're cheating. What forms your thought process other than little MPH Jr can't win a state championship because big bad private does.
  21. It was: Singles Baylor S-1,2 D-1,2 McCallie S-3,4,5,6 D-3 McCallie did very well with both varsity and B at Carter.
  22. Which privates? You've accused "some" based on your opinion. So, what facts form your opinion? Which large city privates are recruiting illegally and when are you going to rat them out to the TSSAA? As far as feelings are concerned, you haven't merited any on my part other than pity for someone so ill equipped to attempt a cogent argument.
  23. In your normal day to day existence, do you so casually acuse other individuals of breaking rules based only on your opinion not evidenced (at least here) on any facts you can point to? Do you realize that on these boards you regularly libel (might be slander in the case of coacht) private schools, parents and teachers based on nothing more than their success in athletics? You're one of those guys who lives in a zero sum world where the only way anyone succeeds is diminishing someone else. Pretty pathetic.
  24. The operative words are "read" and "think" and you're making a big assumption.
