No, the Baylor/Webb game did not play a full 7-inning game. The run rule was called after the middle of the 6th inning.

Baylor defeated Knox Webb 10-0 in the Division II East finals yesterday, at Knox Webb. Baylor and Knox Webb will be the two teams representing the Division II East in Memphis next week. Webb eliminated GPS on Wednesday night, to reach Baylor in yesterday's final. Congrats to both teams.

Does anyone have any scores from the Soddy Tournament up to this point?

Baylor's freshman pitcher, Maddie Schmissrauter, pitched against East Ridge. Baylor hit the ball well. Meghan Pauls had a 3-run homer in the first inning. East Ridge seemed to struggle with errors, but are definitely a good team.

s3softball, Hmmmm. Baylor didn't play in a Hendersonville tournament, and aren't scheduled to do so, I don't believe. They aren't scheduled to play a Columbia Central either.

I happened to see the Baylor/Knox Central game. Baylor's Meghan Pauls (3rd base) and Mary Catherine Vercoe (pitcher) hit the two homeruns. I believe both would have definitely gone over any temporary fence. Granted, Central's outfielders had to chase them down due to the long outfield, but both shots were bullets that would have definitely been homeruns (not just doubles).

Baylor did win. They beat Hoover 5-2 in the finals. Baylor played six games on Saturday, with their first game starting at 8 am and their last game ending at midnight. Meghan Pauls (3rd base) and Mary Catherine Vercoe (pitcher) both hit home runs against Knox Central. Congratulations, Chattanooga Baylor!

Does anyone know the status of the Gibbs tourney as of this morning? I believe there are storms in the area and I am wondering if tourney is postponed...
