Cleveland High scrimmaged McMinn Central yesterday, Feb. 13. Cleveland won.

The Chattanooga Cyclones are having a summer team this year. They should be good.

I don't think he is out for the season. He's been released by the doctor to start throwing. He's taking physical therapy to build up his strength in his rotator cuff. I'm thinking he'll be pitching before too long. It might be for just a few innings.

There's a leftie at Cleveland High, Blake Carver, who pitches in the upper 80's. Has excellent control.

Blake Carver is a junior. There's a freshman named Kyle Clayton who's a tall, lanky leftie. Don't know how fast he throws.

The magazine, Collegiate Baseball, has named Wes Hodges from Baylor as a Preseason All American.
