I think that Brentwood will be one of the best teams in state, as much as it pains me to say it. They lost very few seniors from last and are still quite deep. They do seem to choke late into the season though. If they can over come that they have a very good chance at state.

Rodney has had the benefeit and a very, very good defence in front of him for a 2 straight years, as well as some very impressive numbers as a result. Right wrong or indifferent that is why he was choosen. (in my opinion)

Walton will not be playing because he received a red card in BGA's previous game. Its my understanding that Ryan Barnes their starting sweeper will be playing in goal. I could be wrong though

Centennial played Hendersonville once last year, so i guess we were 1/1.

Isn't that what makes the postseason in any sport exciting? The ability for an underdog to end the season of a seemily greater opponent. I can tell you that both Centennial and Smyrna deserved to be in Memphis last year, becasue they both won their sectional games. Something that neither Brentwood or Hendersonville did last year. I also find it amusing that you said the "right" teams are going to state this year. What qualifies these two teams as the right representitives this year and not the two teams that went last year? I guess sometimes its better to be lucky than good

I was also disappointed with the Most Valuable Defensive player award. Idris is a good defender but I thinks Edmonds did a better job this year of shutting people down. Edmonds had a better support cast of defenders as well as an offence that could always score. I guess Idris got it because of what he did w/o much help.
