I was just looking at the TSSAA web site right before I read the post. You may be right.

Just found out that I am going to be able to make it to Coalfield Friday night. ? how far is Coalfield from a place called Deer Lodge, my dad used to live thair and was just wondering.

What people don't know is that Harriman is in the mountains too. Not a lot of difference in what we are used to and where they live.

Don't know if Cloudland and Coalfield played in the reagular season, but according to the TSSAA web site Cloudland and Coalfield have only played 2 times in the playoffs, 1992, and 2001. I can't find any old schedules so I don't know if they played in the reagular season or not.

Now I thought region 1 is the weakist region in the state according to everone else. At least region 4 has 2 and 3A teams that will play 1A teams.

I make good money, just don't like people who think they are better than everbody else.

I would love to see Cloudland or Hampton beat Trousdale but the way they are playing they could take their team and play a good game vs the Tenn Vols. Sorry Vols fans but maby next year. Maby some of the teams in the west can play with Trousdale but I don't know about the east.

Lets hope they will be pumped up, we need to keep the Carter County bus rolling.

Yes, you are right we are tickled with the out come coach Kieth and his staff is having this year. Maby we should let go but some things are to hard to let go of. To many hurt feelings!!

So what if Trousdale is the best team in 1A. For one they should be, they played in 3A last year and looks like it was a good experience for them. 2, looks like the coach has his team in focus and they know what they won't (Gold Ball) and are on track to win it if no upset in round 3 or 4. I pull for Cloudland and would like to see them win it all this year, but get real its not going to happen. Nor will Hampton beat Trousdale, Not even if the games are at home. Trousdale is in a league of there own and it will take a few years for teams to catch up and be able to play and beat them.

Coach Keith and his staff at Cloudland has done great job of getting the program off and running this year. Who says Cloudland will only have one coach. J C yes, but I don't know about the others.

When could they move up? Would they have to wait untail 2007.

You can never overlook anyone from region 2-8. They have a whole different coaching system and it is hard to get ready for. Just hope to see Cloudland and Hampton in the 3rd round.

Conditioning is a big problem, 2003 Cloudland team, just ask big Jake Gibbs and the rest of the starters. They played 2 quarters of football all season long and it showed. Now the Cloudland-Hampton game 2 weeks ago in the 4th quarter your big linemen looked a little out of shape, I know becouse I was on the side lines and my wife who knows little about football said she could see how bad they were looking. First time they had to play like that since Johnson County.

Cloudland has a good defense and can stop the pass and run. Looks like it will be a good one to watch. Coalfield may not won't to hang their clocks out too much, they could be cleaned by the Cloudland defense!!

And that don't get you a state championship!! If no one is in shape then you can't play 4 hard quarters of football. Thats why they can't beat no one past region 3 or 4.

I think that infection was something wrong with the boys basketball team, not any football players.

It will be alot closer than that. Cloudland has no kicking team, could be 8-7, or 12-7 Cloudland. Just never know when you are on the road.

I think that unsanitary environment, I don't think so. You have to remember that Hamptons assistant Coach helped build the Cloudland program so why would he put his players in a place where they could get some kind of infection. As far as the locker rooms, Cloudland does the best with what funds they get year to year.

I was thair also, and Hats off to Midway they made it a little scary in the second half. All I do was remember two years ago and the CAK come back.

Can't rule out Cloudland, Trousdale, Hampton, South Pitt. I pull for the East so don't know about region 5-8.
