1. Beginning NOW (first games to pick are the January 5th, 2023 games): CoachT's Regular Season Big Ones Contests for Girls' and Boys' Basketball! Log into our free message boards and make your picks by 6PM EST/5PM CST each game day. Big Ones Contests
2. Just found out that QueenBee has passed away. Big Smith County fan. She hadn't posted since 2014 and last visited in January. I have some recipes that she posted that I still use.
3. I just heard this. Only met her once, at a softball game. Really hate to hear this.
4. Roy posted on Thursday so, he is still around. @pegleg @Roy Dillard
5. Anybody else have a search box open, all the time now, on the boards? @iamoz
6. Edited for 2024: VERY Important Note from CoachT- we now have almost every school in the country in our database. So, when you add a game use the autofill selection for EVERY school you add including your opponent. The ONLY time you will type in an opponent's full name is when they are not in our database, which is rare. Thanks If you would like to be able to EDIT your games at any time, for rainouts and other reasons, after they have been validated then you will need to be a CoachT Plus member and be logged in. Then you can go to a game on your schedule, click the G beside the game, and you will see an Edit link. CoachT Plus is now totally donation-based. Click Here You can now enter schedules and/or rosters. Do NOT enter any scrimmages or jamborees! We only want games that count in your school's record. Please follow the following directions closely: HOW TO ADD SCHEDULES To add a schedule, go to the Inside page for your team and click "Schedule/Results." There is a link on that page called "Add Games." Click it and it will take you to the form. As you type in the names the database will begin to fill it in for you. Select the correct team from the choices, even for out-of-state teams. IMPORTANT NOTES - The games you add will not appear on the website until they are previewed by site operators. - In order to save time, add only those games that do not already appear on the schedule. - Use the drop-down menu for all games, even against out-of-state opponents. Almost all schools nationwide are in the list. Check your spelling, or try typing it a different way (ie co instead of county). - If the game is a district game, be sure to check the appropriate box. Finally: Until you're very familiar with the form, be sure to look over it before you submit it each time to avoid mistakes. Once you have finished adding the schedule your entry will appear on the website once CoachT validates your submission. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Schedules, or partial schedules, that we currently have. When you make a mistake, and you will , then text me at 615-763-9150 (or email me at coacht@coacht.com) and include the link to the schedule or roster in the email. Including the link to something that needs editing saves me a tremendous amount of time over an entire season.

9. We had to do an update last night. Let me know if you have any problems.
10. The current status for this young man: it looks as though he will have amputations of both legs. They are trying to save his knees but, if not, the amputations will have to be above the knees. This kid is the type that will excel as much as humanly possible, the kind of person you may see competing in the paralympics some day...and winning. He could use your prayers. Follow his progress at https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/shultzystrong
11. I thought you were right but I look and someone is still posting as Wingman10.

13. I was unclear in my comments. I am going nowhere. What I meant to say is that "...if something should happen to me..." then iamoz will take over, etc.
14. So, I had a long talk with iamoz today. (If you don't know, he and I are 50-50 partners in the site. Have been since 2001. He does the technical end and I do everything else). Today we worked out a plan whereby if something should happen to me he will take over the site, run it himself, sell it, whatever and make sure my wife gets 50% of everything. She can continue the site as is for awhile, if she chooses. She does a lot of the work already. But, I want her free to do what she wants and not feel obligated to run CoachT.com. Now, if any of you would like to startup another state and see how you like it, email me at coacht@coacht.com. I have made efforts to do this before but everyone I tried was young and needed income right away and it didn't work out. In fact, we have a site in place for every state. Just add the state after http://coacht.com/... and you'll see it. If the state is two words, like North Carolina, then put a hyphen between the names like http://coacht.com/north-carolina Edited 13 hours ago by CoachT

17. I have had a few close calls so want a plan in place just in case. Still have mods but most of the time members contact me and I take care of it.
18. If you remember, I started this in 1997 but the forums, and therefore the user names, started in 2001 after a year with rivals.com. We make enough to make it worthwhile but I could never figure a way to really monetize it without charging and I just don't want to do that. I am actually considering selling it but only if the new owner will let me stay around and run it, at least for awhile. I am getting old (70) and I don't want the site to die when I do. My wife could do it for awhile but I don't want her to have to. Selling it would give the new owner time to train someone to run it while I'm still around to help. Wow, that is sad talk. Nuff of that.
19. CoachT.com has been a lot of fun for me and, hopefully, will be for years to come. It has helped keep me busy during some difficult health issues. Thanks to all of you old-timers and newcomers as well. A lot of the old folks are no longer on this earth. I miss them. Try to keep things positive.
20. I still chat with Butchie occasionally on Facebook. Good guy.
21. lakecounty1968 is our playoff Big Ones winner. Congratulations!! Anyone who wants to participate- we will have our basketball contests (boy and girls separate) beginning in early January. The link to all of the competition: 2022 Postseason Big Ones
22. With three games to go: lakecounty1968 and Warrjack are tied with 62 correct picks.
23. Mouseover his user name and click Ignore in the box that opens.
24. Brandi and Eric had a good visit with Kade. They were able to stay with him for about 30 min. His potassium is normal now. Everything systemic is good. Blood flow is good to legs. Kade didn’t want to talk much. He didn’t want to talk about himself. He just wanted to know who was here. All he said was mom what is the next step. He wanted Eric to rub his head. He is fully aware of his legs and the injuries he has had. The dr that spoke with Brandi and Eric said that it is critical that the blood flow continues to leg and for some reason it is decreased or stops then they will start amputations. This he said was worse case scenario. So please pray specifically for that blood flow to stay strong to his legs. The Ortho dr said that if no set backs after vascular is not an issue anymore and after halos stay on legs for about 6-8 weeks then he will start to repair the ligaments in the knees. Kade is in a lot of pain. Says his knees and legs hurt so bad. He has sensation in his left but not his right this morning. Thank you all for love and prayers.
