  1. Who will win this district? I think McMinn has a shot at winning the title in both boys and girls. It is going to be hard to stop Juuan. He is better than last year and the girls now have a transfer from Sweetwater--Latham-- to go with Hardaway. They are an awesome twosome. I am not saying that McMinn will win, I just think this might be there best shot since Bradley lost a lot of starters in boys and girls. Cleveland girls will be hard to beat though.

  3. I don't think McMinn has any Hall of Fame games scheduled. Try them. Ya'll need to play some teams like that anyway.
  4. A player represents his school. If he is doing bad stuff during the summer and the coach knows it then it is the coaches responsibilty to do something about it.

Hailey Armstrong from McMinn Central is litle but sure can shoot the ball good.
  6. Is this a joke or what? What person posts her own stats on the internet? I saw this and thought this was funny..
  7. Who will win this game? Does Bradley have anybody that can keep up with Juuan Smith?
  8. Juuan Smith from McMinn is the best guard in the state. He can shoot, dribble, and pass. Justin Hare and Kellen Pickle are some of the best too. Tim Cooper and Jay Davis at Cleveland can light up the hoops. I think these five are as good as anybody you all have talked about from SH or Maryville. They are young too. All of them are just junors.
  9. What seniors are you referring to? I thought the ones that were there played awesome. The went to the substate.
  10. Juan Smith- a reciever at McMinn.
  11. Juan Smith is as good as any guard you talked about. He also can play bigtime football.
  12. You are right when you say that jealousy causes people to start yelling the word "recruiting." People are going to send there kids where they can get the best program. Shelbyville and Oak Ridge girls win in basketball so people say they recruit. Maryville and Gallatin win in football and both have been accused of recruing. How come you all don't start saying that Greenback, Clinton, Loudon, Sequatchie County, and other schools recruit. Answer is that they don't win so who cares? Right. This topic is about as old as the public/private ones. There is another right under this one about recruting with walker valley and Bradley. That is old too. Players transfer all the time in McMinn County and they go to schools where they don't live but we don't make such a big deal out of it. Jealousy rules some of you.
  13. Looks like the war is between the fans and parents and not the coaches down there. Not all players choose a school for athletics. Ya'll should not be be so hard on the girls of boys that transfer. I am sure each of them have there own reasons. Sports are more important to some people than others. These girls can have fun playing ball and enjoy it. Everybody doesn't play sports just for a scholarship. Some play it for fun. Nothin is wrong with that. I respect Walker Valley for letting all the girls play and not just a select few. Some girls just don't want to put there whole lifes into basketball. Don't judge them for there decisions.
