McCallie and Webb showed alotta heart in both games. Webb was leading 9-6 going into the bottom of the 7th and McCallie tied it up. In the second game, Webb was winning 7-3 until a 3 run homer in the 6th inning by McCallie made the game a little more interesting. The first game was messy, a total of 12 errors. Second game was much better, I think there were only 2 or 3. Nate Hall hit a home run in the second game off Moore to put Webb ahead 3-2 and Webb kept the lead for the rest of the game.

I just saw on McCallie's website that they have Tripp North listed as starting one game, but the other says TBA. Why wouldn't Moore start the other game?

All sports, obviously, have some degree of difficulty(even soccer). Or else there would be no point in playing because everyone would be great. Comparing soccer and baseball is like comparing a square and a circle. They have practically nothing in common. Anyone who thinks soccer is easy is wrong. I will say that hitting a baseball is the hardest thing to do in ANY sport.

Just thought I'd let everybody know that Webb travels to McCallie this weekend in a Division II East Region doubleheader. Any predictions on how the games will go?

Webb is 8-5. They just recently played in the Sportsbelle Classic where they won their bracket and then lost 10-7 to Farragut in the semi-finals. Nate Hall is 3-0 on the mound with an ERA right around 1. Patrick Kimmons is 2-1 on the mound with his only loss coming to Farragut (who he kept hitless for 4 innings).

I think the score was something like Maryville 9 Webb 5. I'm not positive though, Webb played all of their backup players because they had already secured a spot in the semifinals.

McCallie: 4 Knox West: 0

Clinton's field is much improved... but I wouldn't say its one of the best in East TN.

Webb: 7 Maryville: 3 Sophomore pitcher J.T. Blair started for the spartans and gave up one run on one hit and one error in 6 innings. Patrick Kimmons came on in the 7th and gave up two runs on two hits. Webb had 13 hits to Maryville's 3.

That was Zach's second pitching performance of the season. He still hasn't gotten all of his arm speed back yet, but he'll get there.

anybody know when they're making up the games? Will the be moving back the games that are supposed to be play on thursday (supposing its not raining on thursday)?

I just saw on the TBCA website that Notre Dame is ranked 4 in the state with a 4-2 record. Does anyone know anything about them? Have they beaten anyone thats good?
