glovebox, why are you so bitter? Why are you hating so much? Gadie never wrestled Inman, he just got to avoid it. Had you watched Inman's match with Gann, you would have seen Inman was winning the whole time until he dropped his head and got caught. Gann stalled the whole time he wrestled Inman. Inman shot 6-7 times on Gann and Gann kept backing away. Gann never shot, just like he did with Gadie. Gann really got lucky getting to Gadie...I congratulate Gadie on his region championship, but state is not until next week... so don't get the big head. Also, glovebox, are you Ladd? If so, wasn't it a Smyrna wrestler who put you into the consolations?

I think the 4th place spot is still up for grabs, didn't that Brooks kid beat Kozlowski twice this year. I think they are dead even. Could go to either one. But Kozlowski is good.

Didn't Smyrna try that JV thing earlier in the year and got beat 64-18. I really feel bad for Smyrna but I just don't think they can pull it out. They are giving up 24 points to start out....

From what I have heard, Smyrna will be forfeiting 4 weight classes at the region duals and I also heard that Inman and Pierce were both injured and that they may not be up to par for Saturday. From what I was looking at, Smyrna was the only possibility of giving Franklin a run. Too bad for Smyrna but congrats to Franklin... Centennial...still a mystery but I don't think they can knock off Franklin and Lavergne has Franklin 1st round. Good Luck Franklin at the State Duals, represent region V strong.

Yeah, I think it is a blind draw, if you look at the last several years of state duals, there is no real pattern for the brackets.

Not likely, due to the time of the year, it will be so hard to reschedule. Many teams are now in preparation for the regional tournaments and such.

Smyrna defeated Warren Co. last night 42-36.. Came down to the wire. Very hard fought match.

Well then, if this is true, then I seriously doubt Smyrna will lose. It is hard to give up 24 pts to them and still win. Who do you think should be District runner up? I know Lavergne beat Warren Co. and Riverdale beat Lavergne and Warren Co. beat Riverdale. Then throw in the mix that Wilson Central was beaten by Lavergne and I think that the only other loss they have is to Smyrna.... Looks like the District Championship for District IX is up for grabs this week. Friday Warren Co. will travel to Smyrna High to try to break Smyrna's 3 year unbeaten streak in the District. Will Warren Co be able to do it? I think they can, their team looks really strong while Smyrna has been up and down all season?

I heard Inman beat Bailey from Bradley, maybe Inman should stay at 4, but shouldn't Bailey drop from number one?

Rumor has it that Brandon Feurebacher from Riverdale(103) has moved to Smyrna....Is there any truth to the rumor that he may be wearing Purple and Gold. I'm sure Gonyea will be thrilled if he is. 103 has been a weak spot for Smyrna this year.

What's funny about this quote is that Smyrna was mentioned. Smyrna is currently in a rebuilding year and they are doing pretty good. If you look at the lineup that Smyrna placed against Franklin, they were missing 5-6 of their strong starters due to illness. However, Smyrna has only been considered a quality program in the last 3 years. So to say it is a disappointment to see these teams going down, would be grossly inaccurate. The score between Franklin and Smyrna does not reflect the team they have. Trust me, I've seen a few of their duals this year and they look pretty good for the troubles they've had.

That's definately a scientific way of picking a team. What do you think that Warren Co. Has? What do you think Smyrna Has? Do you think that either of these two teams are the top teams in the district? How about another team?
