  1. Here is how I have it right now. Anybody have any names they want to throw out that I missed? I really need help with 103, 152, and 215. Whose gonna win in those places? Also is it just me or are there less results being posted than last year? I can't seem to find many dual match results. Anyway here are the people I have as people to watch; Team Rankings 1)Franklin 2)Tullahoma 3)Brentwood 4)Smyrna 5)Wilson Cen. 5)Page 103-Burch (FV) 112-Ryan Konz (Frk), Rostum Prisayne (Smy), Sanders (BW) 119-Mike Ortiz (frk), Joseph Pair (P), Stewart Cope (Cen), Knight (Tul) 125-Creighton (P), D. Also as a favor here are the regional teams this year. Note the TSSAA website doesn't have them all listed anymore for some reason. * Region: 5 District: 9 Blackman High School (Murfreesboro) Franklin Co. High School (Winchester) Friendship Christian School (Lebanon) LaVergne High School (LaVergne) Lebanon High School (Lebanon) Lincoln Co. High School (Fayetteville) Oakland High School (Murfreesboro) Riverdale High School (Murfreesboro) Shelbyville Central High School (Shelbyville) Siegel High School (Murfreesboro) Smyrna High School (Smyrna) Tullahoma High School (Tullahoma) Warren Co. 2. Didn't Martin Graduate? What year is he now?
  3. Done this thread before; check it out here http://boards.coacht.com/index.php?showtopic=84035&hl= http://boards.coacht.com/index.php?showtopic=84035&hl=
  4. What about McCallie's lineups and the dynasty they had mid-80's to mid 90's before the split?
  5. I'm currently working on them, Don't have many results yet. But from what I've seen Brentwood will be tough when they all get back from injury, Tullahoma also is looking tough. Smyrna will always be a tough dual team, oh then there is that Franklin team..... They are not ready for prime time but you can see what I've come up with at www.ravenwoodwrestling.com click on regional info then on rankings. Feel free to e-mail any suggestions or results or use my message board to tell me what you think of my work. Hopefully soon I'll know more about the region after this weekend's tournaments. www.ravenwoodwrestling.com
  6. I call Gessler Mr. Fireman. That boy can hit a fireman from anywhere. I think it is his bottom move too. I think he is a little more advanced than headthrows. Tullahoma is looking good from what people are saying online.
  7. I'm hopeing that Devin gets his extra 2% signed and can go 119, our 119 can go 112, then we get AJ at 125 and Kevin at 130. But since this is my first year with seniors, I feel the whole starting new wrestlers is my world. Independence has some good basics, and look like the same boat I was in 2 years ago. AJ is doing well, knowing he has to compete with Devin for the starting spot makes him work harder. Page has 4 solid wrestlers that will do well in the state this year.
  8. Welcome to my world Coach G! I've been starting 6 Freshmen and 2 newbies.
  9. I think he is from Riverdale if I remember correctly.
  10. I too am having problems. You must fill in every field and it seems to round decimals so it might make your guy in violation. Not to mention the internet is so slow at school it makes it hard to have the patience to put in all the guys. Then it randomly will give a database error. This is horrible for everyone! Also it was mentioned last year that we would be able to see all the other teams scores and entries, but there doesn't seem to be a way to do that. I remember Ronnie saying that when we put them up we wouldn't have to report it to the paper because they could get it from there. Not a happy coach
  11. if you are over 7% you can get a Dr. note. See TSSAA website click on forms.
  12. Shouldn't you be lifting or running right now?
  13. ok using last year's team scores the region scores look like this Region score 1 161.5 2 311.5 3 394.5 4 276 5 100 6 364.5 7 114 8 106 9 317.5 10 275 Minus the top scoreing team from each region 1 161.5 (without subtracting top team scorer) 2 231.5 3 155 4 276 5 100 (without subtracting top team scorer) 6 240.5 7 114 (without subtracting top team scorer) 8 106 (without subtracting top team scorer) 9 240 10 202
  14. I believe it was all done by location. They do not care about harder regions or equal regions, they want the region to represent a specific area. I think if they tried to even out the regions to make them all equal power, some Memphis team may end up in Chattanooga's region. It only makes sence to put local teams together in a region. I'd like to see a map of the region locations. Anyone want to draw up a map of where the regional lines are? That said, I'm still happier with a 13 team region 6 than a 24 team region 5. At least we could do regions in 1 day (assuming there are some empty spots.) I didn't make these stats, someone else did but they look right; region medal distribution from state Region 1 - 4 Region 2 - 11 Region 3 - 13 Region 4 - 9 Region 5 - 16 Region 6 - 10 Region 7 - 14 Region 8 - 7 Region Rank based on placement points for medals given 1st - 16 2nd - 12 3rd - 9 4th - 7 5th - 5 6th - 3 1. Region 3 -- 137 2. Region 5 -- 127 3. Region 7 -- 109 4. Region 4 -- 94 5. Region 2 -- 89 6. Region 6 -- 77 7. Region 8 -- 58 8. Region 1 -- 37 Team points scored by each region: Region 3.....394.5 Region 5.....387.5 Region 7.....357.5 Region 4.....276 Region 8.....274.5 Region 2.....261.5 Region 6.....261.5 Region 1.....161.5 Note of interest: Regions 2 and 6 teams scored identical number of points. Traditional geo-area team points scored: Middle Tennessee (Nashville).....1006.5 Southeast (Chattanooga)........... 670.5 Upper East (Knoxville)............... 423 West Tennessee (Memphis)........ 274.5 Anyone want to do this for the new regions?
