Smyrna is moving the ball down the field without effort. This will be a high scoring game. Packed, Packed House....

I'm not baiting you at all. If you look at my previous posts, I have shared my frustration with Smyrna wrestling over the years. I believe "the Old Coach G" as you say was a problem. Smyrna could have been so much more over the last few years had Garner or some other coach.

He's the man to do it. It's about time they got rid of their last coach Gonya. He was a joke. I know Coach Garner will take this team to the top. They should have given him the job a few years ago.

He is THE coach at Smyrna. And now that he is...watch how much better the program will get...

This is all so funny... If a middle TN team made this comment, oh man, Chattanooga teams would have a hayday. Could it be that maybe the pendulum of power might be swinging a little more central Tennessee. I can't stop laughing.

Now that we have been blessed with new regions, is everyone satisfied with the teams that are going to the State Duals? It's good to see some new faces on the bracket like Oakland and Antioch. However, do you feel these teams will make it through very far on the bracket?

Congratulations to Springfield. I told everyone, they would end up winning this thing. They are definately a strong team this year. Let's see how they do at State.

I'd have to say that Springfield is definately the favorite team in Region 8 this year. My Prediction is that Beech will pull an upset and be in the finals with Springfield. Springfield has the easier bracket. They should be warmed up fine by the time the finals come around. With Lavergne not coming, Hendersonville might have it tough getting a bye in the first round.

I heard that one of the Dedmon triplets from Smyrna beat Abrigo from Forrest the week before Christmas. I think it was a major I heard. You might want to check into this.

Haven't heard much about Springfield, but Beech should be pretty strong in this one. Smyrna will probably be tough to beet, but I think Beech has enough to put the Bulldogs down. What do you think?
