  1. Coaches, I am the head coach of the Christian County wrestling team. We are moving our tournament date to the old Clarksville Northeast date- the last weekend in December. I know many of you use to attend that tournament regularly. I would like to take this opportunity to invite your team to our wrestling tournament for next season. We currently have teams coming from Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, and Alabama. Let me know if you are interested in entering the either the Varsity, JV or both tournaments. The 7th Annual Christian County Invitational tournament for the 2007-2008 season will be December 28th & 29th. The tournament will be two days: the first day will be a JV/Middle school only tournament. The second day will be the varsity tournament. The JV/Middle school tournament will be set up to give wrestlers as many matches as possible. The varsity tournament will drop the loser of the first round into their own bracket where they will wrestle back for 7th place only. The remaining wrestlers will wrestle for 1st through 6th place. If you are interested in competing or have any further questions about the Christian County Invitational please respond as soon as possible. Call Coach Burnham [Home] (931) 249-2920, [Cell] (931)-249-2920 [Work] (270) 887-1100 ext. 2119, or Robert Burnham. Also, you can contact Coach Adams at [Home] (270) 886-9670, [Work] (270) 887-1100 ext. 2208, or John Adams III. Robert A. Burnham Head Wrestling Coach Christian County High School

  3. Coach, you forgot to add Christian County, KY. Are they still coming?
  4. What time are weigh-ins? We haven't recieved any information either.
  5. Considering the time you saved me by just cutting and pasting your results, I guess I should thank you. There are a couple of other places in the local area: Clarksville Leaf-Chronicle, Kentucky New Era, and an another Bluegrass site, where your results will look the same. thumb Thanks

  7. Plunk lost to Sammy Cox by a couple of points. There were a couple of good scrambles ,but Plunk was controlled most of the match. Has Plunk lost any other matches this year?
  8. Though you may not know much about them you have to factor Larue County in the top 5 for that tourny.
  9. Can someone list or provide a link to the wrestling tournaments held in Tennessee every year? I˜m looking for tournament names, the places they are held, and around what date they are usually held. Thanks.
  10. As of now it is on. The County head coach is meeting with his administrators tomorrow morning, that's when the final decision will be made. Here's hoping the roads clear and the tournament goes on as scheduled.
  11. I couldn't find an earlier thread about the duals. If possible could you list the teams again? Thank You.
  12. What states will your team be traveling to? Which states offer the best/worst competition? Just intrested to see the response.
  13. FYI: The most recent issue of USA Wrestler included articles about the Asics Girls High School All-American Team. Many of you have mentioned you don't like the guys wrestling girls, neither do I, however, until my school creates a girls wrestling team, we have to and will continue to include girls on our team. In basic terms: do what ever is necessary to insure the survival and continued growth of our sport. If that means including girls and allowing them to wrestle guys, until there is enough interest to create a seperate girls team so be it.
  14. I know some of you are saying who? She played for Fort Campbell the last two years(8th & 9th grade). Her parents moved off of post and she transfered to Kenwood. Watch for her she's going to be one of the best.
  15. Christian County High School in Hopkinsville, KY is hosting a tournament on January 18th. We currently have 12 Teams. We are looking for 4-6 more teams. If you are interested please contact me at: rburnham@christian.k12.ky.us
