Houston County has four sensational lineman who are all sophomores and w/ experience will only get better..John Richards...Seth Hamilton....Matt Rouse...Bryon Bruce...all will grow and get bigger and w/ experience be very lethal by next season if they stick w/ it!

First off Roby was 16 for 18..so i doubt that your running stats were 2 correct either, since most of them was brigham scrambling away from the IRISH pass rush.....Yeah i dont agree with humphrey leaving the game had anything to do with it and if he really wanted it bad enough ,he would of stayed out there.AND im sorry that he didnt get the birthday present that he wished for in the paper..All that matters is that we won the game and that we didnt talk crap while we were doing it.Sophomore RB/LB #4

Houston County should be strong favorites to be repeats to go back to Regionals...just losing a SS and a 1st baseman...which is the heart of the defense....the role has the chance of being filled equally if not beter...by returning Sophomore Jonathan Bell who could make the translation from 2nd to SS also possible for Wesley Nolen in filling that role when he isnt on the mound....but Houston Co...is young yet experienced....and only lose their 2 and 5 hole hitters which look to be replaced by Jon Bell and Corey Hooper who have both improved their hitting strokes over the winter w/ hard work in the cages...Hooper also progressing in the pitching area where he now has been taught to fondle w/ the grips and picks up nasty movement which normally results into a ground out of some sort and is expected to be the No. 2 pitcher in rotation....but all looks well w/ all the position players returning to play, and it should up hold an exciting spring for Houston Co.

ok this game will not even be close....first off you cant stop the full back if your line blocks ....2nd off this game will not even be close...b/c Waverly tackles too high and Lewis Co.. can just run the option all night and do what ever they want too..b/c they have a huge QB who benches what 300....and Waverly cant throw the ball...so this will be a blow out.....LC42....Waverly 14

i think that Waverly Central is one of the more dominating lines in the area they are a combiantion of of size strength and speed...its amazing when the team you are facing runs a total of about 8 plays and you know what is coming and you cant get there that is pure line...there backs are average their line is just amazing..they have got to be very well coached also...it is just amzing what they can do.....thumbs up to Waverly
