Just wondering haven't been back in a while, how has Stewart County been doing lately. i think they got a new coach 2 or 3 yrs ago, and i read on here last season they had a good jv qb but never saw much on his numbers or how the varsity did. i'd like to see what's expected, or if they've done anything worth hearin about lately. mostly in any sports.

to me the whole deal with the rebel flag is a bunch of hype about nothing it is meant my 99% of ppl to represent their heritage. Mind if you were a german flying a Nazi flag i may be a lil worried as many others would. But the rebel flag never symbolized slavery or torture toward blacks or other nationalties. I agree with an earlier post that in times where we're at war i do believe any american citizen only cars about the Stars and Bars. i would say red white and blue but alot of countries use the same colors so.....

Well that's a heartbreaker. I didn't think they'd ever lose again at the rate they were going. And still yet all they're games have been 14 point or more games just this time it wasn't in their favor. Anyone think this streak will ever get matched or beaten?

well not that this apply's here but i'm pretty sure i know of a 4 and 5 ranked team in the state of VA that can beat Maryville. Mind you I don't know how those teams are doing this year but I did see the top 10 in the state last yr. for VA and the top 5 would give Maryville a run for the money the top 2 would leave them on the ground whining.

amen maryville should PROBABLY not be in top 100 mind you i haven't seen them but they haven't played anyone in top 200 or 300 so you really don't know how they'd do against a team like that. OK i don't remember who it was that posted a message that asked if Houston County would make the playoffs. UPDATE: NOT A CHANCE. 0-4 i don't care who you've played or who you do play i don't see any team that's 0-4 getting to the playoffs. As for the SCHS HCHS GAME it could get good. so good luck to both teams.

ok i haven't seen maryville play in person but ummm have you seen the current top 25 play? Recently? If not then don't say they deserve to be up there. I think that it's impossible for someone to actually rank High School football teams. #1 there's too many of them to look at, #2 if you don't watch all of them i don't think you can actually rank them where they should be anyways. But just my point of view no more no less.

i disagree i think if your running a different offense than what your team is used to then no you won't do well. If your playing with a different strategy than what your teams used to they might not agree with it and might not do so well with it. I believe once we get our JV quarterback up there in 1 or 2 yrs then we'll definately start winning games. Cause then the JV will be used to his ways of coaching and is offense and watch out for SC.
