Stratford looked very undisciplined on defense the night I saw them play. If the Jackets can keep them on their toes, they might make a run in this game. 2 things key in this game on offense. On scramble pass plays, what does Zimmerman do throw it away or take long sack or even run for some yards... Has to be decisive. Second thing is penalties. If we can keep them to a minimum we can keep it close. Secondary is key on defense. If we keep them from making the big play like harpeth was doing we will have a chance.

This should be a very good game. I went to watch stratford play during the bye week and they have a very large and physical team but they were dominated by a more disciplined team in White House Heritage. Our boys cannot afford the dumb penalties and personal fouls we have been having lately if we are to stand a chance in this game. Stratford is very hot and cold team. I f we start fast, they could slow down.

Playoff time is upon us. This coincides with the annual pick em game. This is a thing that Gerry Bertier use to do and has been passed to myself. Not much "buzz" about this game so far... excuse the pun. Jackets come off of a very big win over Sycamore to remain undefeated in the District. East follows up with a blowout loss to Harpeth. Is there any chance East can stop the fairview running game? I have heard that the QB for East is pretty solid. Lets hear some thoughts.

Between football and a new baby boy, Senor Bertier has been very busy. Ill tell him that he is missed on here though. Maybe he will make a surprise appearance.

Should be a good game. Fairview looked pretty good on offense and defense last friday holding cheatham to 120 yards of offense. Lets see if the Black Jack defense can hold up against Sycamore.

Maybe the boys will be energized by the play of the middle school last night. I saw some of them sitting on the sideline watching. Big win for them last night. High school needs to play with the intensity.

Went to WWH game and left at halftime. Stratford looks the part but did not make adjustments to what WWH was doing. Marshall is probably better then WWH so I dont think its going to be a good night for Strat.

Big rivalry game between these two schools. Fairview fans went quiet after losses to Page and Creekwood but I think it's about time for a comeback. Where me peeps at?

Clay,CJ, and Tucker Beathard all played at Hillsboro Middle school and then went on to the private schools. Clay is at BGA,CJ is the starter at Iowa as a Jr, Tucker had a baseball scholorship to MTSU but pursued music. Jake is #4 for Fairview. he is their cousin. Their granddad is Bobby Beathard who was the GM of the Redskins and the Chargers i believe. So they might have a little football in their blood.
