hey guys, i luv Rhea Co. too. but our first order of business is to beat Wilson Central which i am sure isn't an easy task. if they weren't good they wouldn't be here in the state tourney. let's help the eagles (and bears) get focused for their first round games. seeya in the boro.

i want to congratulate the golden eagles for their win last night. what a great job against a very good Oakland team. also congratulations on a great season to the guys at Oakland. thanks for the hospitality and the competiton there last night. what a great high school basketball atmosphere. the eagles have faced a lot of adversity the past few weeks, but this is worth it all. coach crowder and his assistants have done a great job all year and the Rhea Co. fans are thankful that we are still playing. GO GET EM EAGLES!!!

good post loco. i think that lookin4an answer is a pathetic person. he just won't let it go. everyone knows that in order to be in substate, you have to win 2 in the region and that is what we did. we beat a 1 and 2 seed to advance. if anyone saw the Cleveland game in the district they will tell you that Cleveland got all the calls in the last 2 min. of the game. i feel like we were cheated but i didn't get on here and complain, i just continued to support my team. people try to say that we recruit and everything. that is very untrue. i know a certain player from mcminn that was being pursued by Cleveland. everyone knows about it, we didn't get on here and complain about that did we? i wish that this would just stop and let rhea co and Oakland play their game in peace. to suggest that the tssaa change their system for one disgruntled coach is absolutely ludicrous.

L4AA, why, oh why does all this become an issue now? if you are so worried about Rhea Co., why don't you give ronnie Carter a call and see what he says. what you need to do is learn how to keep your cool when you are coaching and maybe you could do a better job with YOUR team. don't hate rhea county for your losses. you've got everyone back next year except for davis. if you know what you are doing maybe you can have a chance at substate then. until then, i pray that God will bless you and everyone else that has negative things to say about us. we are here to play basketball and that is it, not argue. be happy for us! for everyone's info. let it be known that floyd and cooper were born and raised in Rhea Co. their families moved to chatt. and Cleveland and now they are back home where they belong. enough is enough. can't we enjoy our season without everyone looking for an excuse to put us down? regardless of what everyone might think, we still had to win to get where we are. these are kids out there. if you don't understand that than you should find something else to do than get on this site and put them down for their families decision to move back home. let's face it, we all love our teams and want them to win, but the reality is that they all won't. this should be a board where the fans can get on and encourage their teams and maybe even brag a littlebit, not put down people that we don't like or teams that we don't care for. most of the people who spend time looking for reasons to put down others are very misinformed and do not know all the facts. i am not just a Rhea Co. fan, i am a basketball fan, and although i want the eagles to win, i appreciate all the kids on all the teams that work hard and give us games to enjoy.

ohspats, good thing your opinion doesn't mean anything here in Rhea Co. i think you should know that randon floyd or boo robinson was'nt eligible at that time either. anyway, let's let the teams do the talking mon. see you there.

all you people worried about Rhea Co.'s coaches, transfers or whatever should just shut up and quit cryin. you obviously must be jealous because we beat your team. if the tssaa says our players our eligible then there is no discussion. as far as the guy that said we can't beat Oakland, check their record and you will see one of their losses this year is to Rhea Co. case closed.

corey doesn't get many headlines so i want everyone to know that he comes to play every night. he is a big part of the eagle's success this year because of his defense, his hustle, his ability to always be around the ball, but most importantly the heart that this kid shows night in and night out. i just want to say that the Rhea Co. fans appreciate what you do corey! you are truly a warrior on the court and a great kid off the court.

Rhea Co.'s zach hyatte against Brainerd last night. on a fast break he took off about a step outside the dotted line and dunked over 2 guys. he has had many awesome dunks this year, but he was really up in the air on that one.

yes scarface, Ooltewah was down by 17 pts. in the third quarter. maybe you weren't at the right game because you should have remembered that. i think that it shows a lot of character for a team to come back like they did and i meant it as a compliment, not like your hostile views. don't hate on Rhea Co. because they won. the game is over and maybe we will meet in the region.

it is a downright shame that people get on here and attack the players like some of you ooltewah fans are doing. ooltewah was 17 pts. behind at one point and yes they did come back, but they got a lot of help from the officials who were horrible. as far as them being the better team, that remains to be seen. there was no thuglike activity on either side, so y'all need to kill that noise. and yes zach is being recruited by d1 schools. there is no reason for you guys to attack him. if he is'nt that good, why was he being double and triple teamed? just sour grapes i guess. let the players play and quit making stuff up on here. we won that one fair and square, despite the referee's effort to steal it.

my 5 starters would be..... Hyatte and Cooper from Rhea Co., Little, Cleveland., Smith, McMinn Co., Hare, Bradley. Next 5 would be Pickel, Bradley., Adams, Baylor., Smith, Tyner., Henderson, Howard., merriman, central. Either way you go, you can't miss with these 10.
