  1. Well drillthej was right people are not crowning Alcoa as champs the are crowning Fulton. They were down 8 at half and Fulton came out and never quit and won 73-65. Great win and congrats to Coach Wright and Tony Cooper who was named the region MVP. CONGRATS Fulton FALCONS!!!!
  2. How does Bonfire know everything about all the teams in this District? Was he a coach in there for awhile....whoever it is they think LC won't be anygood. They are going to be the biggest sleeper in the District. LC doesn't have just one big player...they have so many different people that can step up each night, you never know who it will be the top scorer. You all just wait and see...
  3. Who won...what was the score?
  4. I know Jusitn and I have played against him many times. There is no way that he has a 56" vertical and he also can not do a 360 windmill and break the back-board. He can barly do a windmill. Plus he had a broken wrist, all that was a big lie. Go watch him play you'll see that really fast!!
  5. WoW...what? Do you mean Loudon Redskins got beat by Harding?
  6. In Saturday's championship game Lenoir City and Chuckey Dook played at 8:00 and at half Lenoir City was up by 9(38-29). But in the 3rd and 4th quarter Lenoir City took over with some awsome defense and great shooting behind senior guard Anthony Singleton. He lead all scorers with 18. LC won by 31 in the end(72-41). In the third place game home team Davey Crockett was upset again by Sullivan South.
  7. The LC score was 62-48. But it was a bad game. LC was up at half 40-11. Then in the 2md half they slowed up and let Sullivan East make a run on them. But they put the starters back in and then they blew it up to 14. They play Sullivan South friday at 6:30. I think they will be a force to handle in this years tournament. Does anyone know what happened in the Crockett and Cherokee game?
  8. Tonight was opening night. There were a few upsets. Like Lenoir City of Sullivan East. That was the first time Lenoir City has beaten Sullivan East in this tournament. Sullivan South beat Hampton and when I left Crockett was beating Cherokee by 8. And Severville and Chucky Doke was about to play. So update me on what happens in the other games.
  9. SOME OF THE TEAMS PLAYING IN THIS YEARS TOURNAMENT ARE LENOIR CITY, SULLIVAN EAST, SULLIVAN NORTH, VOLUNTEER, DAVEY CROCKETT, AND THATS ALL THAT I CAN THINK OF RIGHT OFF HAND...I KNOW THERE ARE MORE BUT THATS ALL I CAN THINK OF....LENOIR CITY PLAYS SULLIVAN EAST TO START OFF WITH TUESDAY @ 5:30. THAT SHOULD BE A GOOD GAME!!!
  10. Its true that they played in a scrimmage at Greenville today. They played Lenoir City and Alcoa. They were losing to Lenoir City and then they had a technical called against Lenoir City and they won by one...then they were losing to Alcoa 15-5 at the end of the first. I don't know how that game turned out. But they looked pretty good and their 1-3-1D...that can cause a lot of teams trouble..They are going to do good this year. Thats my opinion.
  11. What about Jesse Synder for Lenoir City who is starting at Belmont now as a Junior and was sixth man last year?
  12. Thats what everyone is saying that OS is going to be better than everyone in the district next year. But everyone is under-estimating Lenoir City this year. Last year they were a young team and they have a lot of good people coming back. They only lost 2 seniors. They have 5 great people that can shot the trey, and thats just under classman. Try the juniors and seniors in the pic and it looks like trouble. We'll see December 3 when LC plays OS at OS. Good luck you'll need it.
  13. I have played against Lee and had the oppurtunity to guard him and that is not an easy task. I think he will fit in perfect with the style that Florida plays. He is an awsome point guard and makes everyone around him better. That is why I think Maryville will win the state championship this year. And it will be the first of many titles for Lee. I think when he gets to Florida he will get a lot of playing time, if not this year then next year when he is s sophomore. Good luck lee.
