I may be wrong but I don't think that McKenzie would stand a chance against even the "lesser" teams in the region without Hayes. He is the backbone of the team. I don't understand which teams you are talking about because from what I have seen, they can all play. Nobody is a pushover. Just wait and see.

Will the starting time be the same as it would have been?

From what I could tell, Riverside was very much in control of this game. The big play killed them. Crockett County might not be the powerhouse as they usually are but make no mistake, they are NO slouch. They looked very quick to the ball on defense, and as for the offense, I think they are going to have to run the ball the majority of the time. As for Riverside, they looked much improved since last year.

I would just like to say that I feel for the team that is playing Haywood. The game is pretty much over before it starts. Would someone put in their opinion on this game. As for me, I have two words.......Jacolby Bond.

I think that this will be one of the best games at the Jamboree. Thats just an opinion. If Riverside comes out on top or not, it will be a smashmouth game. "They will remember the night they played the Panthers"

There was a statement made on the radio that Lexington won this game 4 to 2. I haven't seen either team play, but that sounds like the right score considering what Lexington has compared to McKenzie.

I, myself, do not know what Crockett Co has this year. I DO know what Riverside has. They have an outstanding D-line and the linebackers find happiness in putting the ballcarrier in pain. I just think that the Cavaliers are goin to need Earnest out there if they want to dominate this game. But with that scenario being impossible, I am going to say this game is a toss up. Crockett Co will definitely have to shut down the running game. It will be tough to do. GOOD LUCK to both teams.

I agree with secretasianman on this one. It won't be a walk in the park for anybody. I have seen the scrimmages that Riverside has had this year and its enough to impress me. The boys have alot of fight in them....Ask Perry Co

I have been very impressed with the play of Riverside this year. The team is fairly young with the exception of a few seniors. Its hard to say how the game will be since the Panthers will not be using their main weapons due to the Jamboree coming up on Friday. I don't think much rests on this game though. The strength of the team will be shown in the regular season. They have a very tough schedule this year but there is a good chance at some upsets being produced. There are always alot of talk about how good Huntingdon is going to be or how well McKenzie will do but alot of times people overlook the other teams in the region. Just take it from me people. DON'T COUNT RIVERSIDE OUT!

Can anyone who attended the game tell me how the game looked?

I believe Huntingdon graduated about 22 seniors. That is going to be a blow to even the best of teams. I don't think they have what it takes to repeat. Losing Terrance Bell is the factor that will keep them from being in Murfreesboro again this year.

Well I wouldn't go so far as to say they will NOT beat Huntingdon or McKenzie. I think there is a good chance considering what they have coming back this year. And as for Adamsville, they won't be a playoff team even if they did beat Camden last year. Losing 3 players that didn't contribute will not really matter.
