Loretto vs. Lawrenceburg Part II will be a dogfight until the end. I could say Biordyshaw's injury wont affect this game any, but it WILL. Some guards are going to have to step up (which I believe they will), and defend Spann. It wont be easy, it wouldnt even be easy to win if Birdyshaw was in there, but thats where our BENCH comes in. We have SOLID depth on our bench, which will certainly help cover up Lauras absence. In conclusion, Ive got three words for Lawrenceburg: Triangle and 2!!! Good luck Lady Mustangs!!

Thanks PageMan and goldenboy (on other thread). I will just update what I know here. She was tken to Emergency Room because she couldnt get out of vehicle at home. I will update as more info becomes available here. Please remember this young lady.

Laura is in quite a bit of pain right now, but she should be ok- bad bruise. This was simply not Loretto's night. Marshall County controlled the pace of the game, and Loretto's shots just didnt fall. - We werent ready. Thats ok though, they still have to come to our house. Great job to both teams.

Basically what happened was the change of pace of game play and Loretto's shots didnt fall. That pretty much sums it up.

I say Loretto in this one by about 15. The home court advantage for L'Burg will indeed be an advantage, but the Ladies from Loretto are up to the challenge. Look for the Lady Mustangs to really turn up the heat in this one.

Just wondering which Juniors for next year will be the "ones to watch". I think Alvin Townson from Loretto will step up and be a main player next year for Loretto Boys. I also think senior Kyle Lyles will be one of the best senior centers in the state. Any more?

I see nobody backing up your opinion. You have no idea how much hard work goes into coaching even the best teams! I also think the style of coaching C. Green does is better than someone yelling down your throat the whole game. These young ladies- (even with the talent just like every team)- would lose without a doubt without C. Green. I lover her style of basketball, and obviously alot of people do also to get on here and back her up. Please dont go pointing fingers when pointing is not necessary. Name me some examples of what she does and I can guarantee you I can give you a logical explanation on everything she does. Peace.

Well said SPORTZTER. If Loretto keeps on playing their style of basketball, and keep having that "focus" you must have to come out and play seriously, WATCH OUT!!! The coaches do a GREAT job to prepare these young ladies for the games, and it shows! Keep it up Lady Mustangs and take Loretto to the State this and next year!
