  1. It must have been those 4 walks that Scott had in 105 Innings that left him out of the discussion
  2. Congratulations to former Oakland player by making Baseball America Freshman All-American team. Jeremy Slayden
  3. MrBlack, If you are talking about the Worth Showcase that was on June 14 & 15 at MTSU, the tryouts were May 18 and 25 at different locations around the state. The one from Region 1 & 2 was at Tusculum College and was run by Coach Pharr of Farragut. I believe there were four teams, Regions 3/4, 5/6, 7/8 to go along with 1/2. This is in association with the TBCA and the member coaches recommend players for the tryouts. Make sure your coach is a member of the TBCA and the players should be underclassman (2005/2004/2003) TBCA Website
  4. Congratulations to Cordova's Jeff Beachum, who captured the baseball award. Best of the Preps
  5. South, I have 12 players on the 2002 list and the draft information in "red". Top 2002 Tennessee Players
  6. Former Karns HS star Tharpe, who was the co-Knoxville Interscholastic League Player of the Year at Karns High School in 2000, compiled a two-year record of 5-15 with a 5.35 ERA and one save. As the No. 1 starter for the Bulldogs this past season, the 5-11, 190-pound left-hander was 4-7 in 14 starts while leading the team in strikeouts with 66 in 76.1 innings. Derek Tharpe from Samford
  7. I've added the MLB draft information to the players on the 2002 list and updated some more players. I also took anspa'a advise and dropped the numbers since the list is mainly in alphabetical order anyway.
  8. Former Karns player Justin Sims and MTSU outfielder was drafted the #662 player in the 22nd round by the Twins. Congratulations Justin!
  9. The Tennessee coaching staff noticed the Team Tennessee Sunbelt win and will follow any the the fine 2004's?
  10. Congratulations to Josh and his fine family. Josh was drafted by St Louis. Josh Bell
  11. Sorry, I must have made a mistake, I'll correct it. Thanks
  12. The All-Big Seven Team is published by the Kingsport Times-News and the players are from: Science Hill, Dobyns-Bennett, Tennessee High, Daniel Boone, Sullivan South, David Crockett and Sullivan East.
  13. anspa, The list aren't ranked by number, they are in alphabetical order.
  14. RUESKA, I think the 2004 list only changed by 2 players and some individual information was updated. They never change a great deal, but they may change more with end of season awards.
  15. I finally found the time to update the "Top Player list" for 2002, 2003 and 2004. Sorry for the delay, but with the end of season very busy, I watched as many games as I could. My laptop is down right now and some of your email might have been lost, so if your information didn't get updated, just resend it with any end of season awards. Thanks, HV Top Tennessee Players Link
