  1. Grad, Was Halls and Soddy playing a championship game?
  2. Is that a final score? Who pitched for both teams? Thanks in advance.
  3. coachfro, You know who I picked as the #2 team before season play started, but I have to admit that the surprise team in district play has been Central. Central should now be favored to go 8-4 with a win at Clinton and a loss at Halls Oak Ridge should be (8-4) favored at home over Karns (They beat the Beavers at Karns) and should win over winless Powell. That would leave Karns to finish 6-6 and in a bad position come the tournament seeding. (4th) The Beavers need for the Dragons to win at home over Central and hope they can return the favor over the Wildcats. That would mean that Oak Ridge, Central and Karns would finish with 7-5 records assuming Powell stays winless and Halls wins out. Have you looked at the records to see how the three teams with 7-5 district records would play out?

Nice compact swing that really gets the bat head through the zone. Slight loft to his swing, he's probably going to hit with some wood bat power, 2.13 pop) (2003 .414 BA, 2 HR, 13 2B, 27 RBI's, All-District 10-A, Member of the soph. sunbelt team) (Blue-Gray Classic VII at the University of Tennessee) (Perfect Game Sunshine East - PG Rating 7 - Tate is a good left handed hitting catcher. He has a good line drive approach and stays inside the ball well. His bat is quick throw the zone and he showed power potential. He moves well behind the plate and works hard. Projectable good baseball body, his arm should improve a lot over the next couple years. Good hitting 05 catcher with a good work ethic, interesting follow. Top student!) 9. Grad, Not sure who will win because of the upcoming district games that will need to be won after the tournament. Some coaches will save pitching. If you have time watch Knoxville Halls play. They are playing well right now and are pretty deep position wise. Keep us updated.

  14. In fact, his decision means he will be ineligible for this year's draft, where some scouts projected him as a top-100 pick. MLB changed its rules regarding high school juniors shortly after Bonderman and Powell made the jump. A player must have dropped out of high school 365 days before the draft in order to be eligible. Delmonico will be eligible in 2008 as a 21-year-old college junior.
